FINALLY got Blimey washed tonight... and hydro'd and nero'd exterior. Spot polished a few little blemishes on paint and a wheel with ScratchX. Re-hydro'd when done. Vac'd interior. Looks MUUUUUUCH better.

And I feel happier. Amazing.

I have a big club meet this Saturday... so will be working on interior evenings this week. Need to clean and condition seats and leather boots/armrests, dust and Nero/Hydro/Clarity everything else.... so by next weekend I will have converted back from Hall of Shame to Hall of Fame status...

I have a set of new black rollbar covers... and ordered a rattlecan of Cool Blue paint and adhesion promoter.... hope the paint comes this week, if so I'll stay up all night if I have to so I can have my body color hoops installed for the meet... props to Joshamman for the idea....

Oh yeah... and I wired a "microphone eliminator" plug for my CB yesterday... so I don't have to have the monster microphone with curly cord installed all the time (you can't listen to the stupid thing without the mic, but I almost never talk on it, just listen - so now it works the way I want it to).

And I got Dynolicious for my iPhone... which is cool... so now I don't need my G-Timer anymore... was going to make a custom mount for the G-Timer, but interior looks much cleaner with just the iPhone...

Where did you order your black roll bar covers?!?

(I know I seem to ask you where you got everything)

Hey...my exhaust may be from Amazon.com, costing me a steep $275 but it looks awesome!!! The tips have that sort of etched flare, widening at the last 2cm on the inside, and I haven't seen any other exhaust like it really.

I took some family friends for their virgin ride in a MCS last night. I gave them a tour of it in the garage, under the hood and all, showing off my little mods here and there. I got the usual "awww its so cute!!!!" (two women)

Took them for a ride on my local highway and no joke...the first thing she asked me was "so, uh, how many speeding tickets have you gotten yet?" (I wasn't speeding, really)

Ordered them from Classic MINI when they had their "cost + 10%" sale going on. Even without the sale, they're cheap. Parts 6&7 here:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...57&hg=51&fg=55

You order the black ones for the Cooper - all "S" cars had chrome covers.

went motoring my MCS this am since weatherchannel stated storms
would not arrive until around 9am.. it was 6:30am when i left. the
doppler radar also didnt show too much movement.. but while i was
out, in the first 30min the storm quickly approached. pitch black
sky.

was afraid of getting hailed on so made a quick detour and zipped
down the expressway dodging suicidal trailer trashes in hyundai's,
rock throwing dump trucks and came home just like 2min before
the heavy rain came down. wheeew...

got some drizzle on the car but with SprayOn Car Wash was able to
quickly clean up the car followed by SpeedShine. clarity'ed the
glass, dry wiped my BW'ed arches. looks great again.

wat a morning...

lol... are you one of those loser types where you want to see people
get owned by something for the sheer enjoyment of you feeling that
you're not alone? hahaha

yah, im hoping that my next bb (Bold) will allow me to see the dopplar in
motion. my current 8800 i can only get the latest cloud location.
it's still quite useful though. if only AT&T can get a hold of the
first batches... already got clearance from my director at work to order
it for myself as soon as it's available.

Yep... had his headphones on, minding his own business, apparently, when the 40-year old guy next to him went berserk. And I do mean BERSERK.

That article is tame... doesn't give the grisley details some of the other articles did.

Wow.

Whoa - Gotta be more to this then what was written. Maybe some really loud snoring or inappropriate groping? I'd bet it was a guy from the States hacking up the poor Canadian.

Ha, sounds like something a crazy American would do, huh ? Nope, that guy is from Alberta, Canada.

Maybe the young victim was listening to Milli Vanilli. But from all accounts, nothing precipitated the attack. The guy just apparently lost "it".

That guy will never be free in public again. No worries.

But just to be safe, don't take the bus.

Nope, it was a Canuck. And Canadian TV was much more graphic about what he did to the poor guy. They even let you say the F-word on TV
