well, i passed on the oil change but i did swap out the wheels on my G and so she's back on her summer SSR shoes. took her out for a quick spin.

i have to say the car started with no issue as if i just drove it yesterday. everything was normal and this was the shortest 3month winter hibernation ive experienced so far. mostly due to crazy busy schedule and didn't miss motoring all that much during the winter due to my other music hobby.

not sure when but i plan on firing up the Z this week as well.

No no, first mod: painting my R50 5-stars white, putting summer tires on them and putting them on!

And doing some orange reflector swapping...ew.

white wheels would look fantastic on that car.

ML would it be better to paint it after the tires are put on, or are you having them baked?

Sounds good.

So I'm having this rip-off "organic" banana grown on globally polluted chinese rain water.

I just got busted bucket-washing in the wash bay

I tried to explain the economics of it to the guy but he wasn't having it.

I guess I'll find somewhere else to pay $7 for 10 minutes of water 3 times a week...

i get my chinese polluted rain water for free a few times a week. it's acidic so melts away all contaminants.

Yup and they didn't even touch his 700k bankruptcy file last year and the $23000 he still owes on the Prius. Also the needing a CHP car to tell you to use the brake and turn the key, and he had no clue how to get it out of drive, I mean I know there's some stereotypes about surfer dudes, but even they'd figure that one out; would've been just as well to use it as an excuse to bury the pedal headed toward Vegas where he was "saved" by his car running out of gas in front of the MGM Grand.

Unfortunately, I spend enough of my day dealing with people that make stuff up that I'm really come around to the whole "don't trust until verified" thing. But most people that take the time to lie don't take the time to cover up the holes in their stories. It's not just Toyota people either.

700k in bankruptcy, huh? wow. some folks are born losers, raised as losers, and just continue on until the day they die as a loser, huh?

you dont frikken make up schit at a huge company like toyota. their american lawers and legal team will chew him up alive and spit him out on the hwy to get run over by another toyata. if they're having a bad day. knowing toyota, they are gentle people so might let him off easy.

gotz some spacers, washers, bolts, and nuts to adjust my Z's seats. im kinda short especially from waist up so having a hard time seeing over the hugegangeous side mirrors of the Z.

going to load up the rails a little. i did a trial yesterday using some nuts i have (i have 4 nuts! ) to position the seat and they worked great.
