Nazty stormy weather here. Tore apart my right rear suspension to try to find why it's making noise. Didn't find anything, but it's not making the sound anymore (yet).

And spent 3 hours fixing home internet and wireless issues.
And need to do some real work... but am completely unmotivated.

Hey all.

I used to post here a ton, and have been dropping in more frequently lately. Good to see everyone is still around!

Haha, not exactly. I'm a sophomore at the University of Colorado and have been busy doing schoolwork and skiing. Detailing too Otherwise, a lot of online time is spent on 6speed, LeftLaneLife, and other boards, but I come here often too!

Here's a F430 Scuderia I hydro'ed...

*Good 1000th post too!*

Haha, unfortunately only about 80 yards... The car's sound is incredible, but so is the entire experience. Fuel pumps whizz on when you open the drivers door, carbon everywhere you look, stripped interior with the most intricate leather work I've ever seen... It's quite a sight!

... and Brendan, I still have that P21S you were supposed to pick up from me at MITM last year. Care to try for this year?
Think you might be able to make the C&C in Lafayette at Cinos next weekend? We have a group clean scheduled after that you're welcome to come by too. Check out our club calendar for more info (April 4th).

Reflections Detailing: Scuderia Gallery

(PS: This is the first time my new website has been put online. It's been a work of labor for the past few days, so let me know what you think (and it's still a work in progress))

I think I will be there! I was at the last one (the last pics in the Scuderia gallery are from the last C&C) and there was a great turnout. Count me in on the wash session after as well, I can provide a PC and Prima product to be passed around as well. PM me and let me know if I can help out.

You might want to remove the windshield so you don't break it on your way out of the car at traffic lights.

Yeah, it's not for every MINI but I love the look on my CR Cooper.

I have to go check my rear again, see if it's still clean. Be right back.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....

....we hired a new Maid Service and they started today. Did a pretty nice job on the house.

We put the cleaning supplies out for them and I thought we left out plenty of stuff.

I go to do a load of laundry tonight and lo' and behold, there's stuff in there. I start pulling stuff out. Hmmmmmm... they washed the towels they used. Wait... what's this ???

Yep, you already guessed it. We apparently didn't leave enough towels out for them. So, they went looking for some more. They found them. In the garage. Two of my brand-spanking new DP Waffle Weave Drying Towels. Three of my Monster Fluffy microfiber towels, two of them also brand-spanking new. And one of my Starfish microfiber mitts.

Now, not only did they use them, they washed them with the other rags they used to clean and the rugs we had in front of the washer and dryer in the laundry room... rugs that were old and not particularly clean.

I told the other half... free pass THIS time. One more time they touch one of my car towels. Fired.

Damn, it's hard to find good help.

Ouch!

That's crazy that they would use stuff that was not specifically left out for them.

We've used a maid service a few times and they brought everything they needed. Better luck next time!

Yeah. I don't know what would possess them to look through the garage for towels. And once they did, they couldn't tell those weren't your run of the mill household towels ??

Oh boy, I'm going to have fun making this phone call tomorrow.
