Sweeeeeeeeeeet... those ceramic pads, huh ??

Yeah, pollen is peaking here too, as are the bug hatches. I've tried to keep up with it in past years with daily dusting and QD. I'm just too dang tired to do that anymore.... I'm washing once or twice a week and living with it. The worst part is how much pollen gets INSIDE the cabin... everything gets covered with it. I'll just wait until it's done and do a full detail then.

I have to do a full exterior detail before MOTD - trying to decide if I do that this weekend or wait another week for (hopefully) the pollen to subside a bit...

I'm taking off the week of the Dragon but can't get down there until Thursday (other half has to work thru Wednesday ).

That gives me Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed to detail. I think I can get 'er done.

As it turns out I have to much stuff to do today, so I'm putting off the full spring detail on the MINIs till next week, but they will get a wash/Hydro today.

Making some new drawers for some cabinets I installed in the kitchen, to make things easier to get at rather than shelves. Also hope to move some roses in the garden today.

also recommended is Nero for the interior. you never know when pollen can land inside the car.

(my responses are a tad slow)

looks like it's going to be pretty nice out tomorrow so im planning on pulling out my MCS in the early morning hours and work on installing some blinds (need to do 3) afterwards.

actually, i need to go buy some blinds first... sheesh.

when the temps reach its high at about 72F tomorrow, im going to do a quick touchup on my FitS's front bumper cover. got several areas missing paint.

Note to self:

Dear CR&PW&JB,

Do not visit Colorado in the summer. Visit there between November and April. Make sure you do not go there during the couple months of summer and fall in love and move there.

Sincerely,
Yourself

Ps. Don't forget to get bread and milk today.

Supposed to be 60 deg today.
Just make sure you don't come to CO the week after I put on my summer tires.

Bwaaaahahaha... that's when I DO want to come there so I'm not tempted to move there. Colorado is on our short list of places we'd like to retire to.

You've convinced me to move San Diego and St George, Utah up on that list.

I just wish all the Texicans were so easily swayed. Well hopefully they just go ahead and secede and then we can require a Visa for them to visit and then limit the number per year - to zero.
St. George is nice.

Yeah, St George is a beautiful community. Only drawback, IMO, is that it might be too small... not enough "stuff" to do there, and it's a pretty good hike to Vegas.

Some of the suburbs of San Diego are gorgeous communities, too.

Still have a few years to scope it all out. God willing, of course.

Now you're either up late or up early Chris - which is it?
I'm heading off to my daughter's swim meet so we're up early.
It is Sunday after all.

23 years on the Air Force has made me an Early to Bed, Early to Rise guy, Chuck. And yep, even on a Sunday. Haven't slept past 7:30 in over 30 years.

And just what time is that swim meet ? You must have gotten out of bed around 5:30, or so. Good luck to your daughter... and I hope that's an INDOOR swim meet.

Warm-ups are at 7:00 and a 30 minute drive. Early arrivers find the best seats so I was all for just spending the night there but got overruled.
The snow was incredibly wet so it has melted from the roads for the most part but it did cause the meet to be canceled on Friday and Saturday so this should be fun.
Thanks for the luck and have a great day.

I'm a late to bed, early to rise kind of fellow, to many years of working 16+ hours a day Well unless I lay on the sofa to watch TV in the evening, then I'm asleep in minutes

So I never did get around to washing the Clubman on Friday, and after our club run yesterday he is now covered in mud, grime and general shat. Looks like rain till Tuesday here, so just going to hose him down between downpours later today.

Poco stayed home yesterday, so he still looks very presentable.

I washed the CR Cooper Thursday evening. I washed the PW Cooper yesterday morning. The JB MCSC was washed last weekend, under the car cover all week, QD'd yesterday after a LOT of topless motoring.

So... three clean MINIs. All is good, right ?

Wrong. Rain tomorrow. One of us can drive the SUV but one of the MINIs is going to get filthy.

Also BW'd Bergey this morning took off the blackout on the grill (decided it wasn't for me) and used the PS21 Metal Polish on all the chrome and the Megan muffler and tailpipe.

Also mowed the grass, put down a few pounds of lime, and cleaned out the bird feeder and bird bath.

See what you can do in one morning if you don't sleep until 9:00 ??

This reminds me of the 40+ year battle back home Quebec has had with the rest of Canada trying to separate. Only really good thing that could come of it, is it would be closer to the east coast from the Prairies Think of the time it would save you to motor down to Mexico

Motored my MCS on Sat and Speedshined/Sprayon Wax afterwards. Slicked the wheels
too. And installed 3 blinds. Played T Ball with my older kid as well. And played in my music room all day Sun.

I have a few MF towels that got dirty from one way or another and they just won't get clean, even after a few washes. I tried soaking them overnight in the washer with some white vinegar before starting a load as well. It helped a bit with the softness but they're still somewhat dirty.

Any other suggestions?

Good excuse to buy new ones !

I have some older Monster Fluffies that have turned a yellowish-light brown color. They're still clean soft, no worries using them as long as they don't have any contaminents embedded in them. Run your fingers through the fibers slowly, you'll feel if there's anything *bad* in there.
