Cool. I think I'll try this tonight. Did you leave it soaking overnight or just 3 hours?

I think the mud flaps do more if you put them on the MINI

In your best Ricardo Montalban voice.... "I like to detail my MINI in my mudflaps.... and NOTHING else...."

Got to say, that ranks right up there with Maggie Thatcher naked as images that I'll need counseling for.

wheew, clarity'ed the inside windows and leathercare'ed the seats,
shiftboot, and momo steering wheel on my G.

it's quite a task doing the inside rear windows on the G.
you have to lay the rear seat down, then lay on your side while
using the windowwizard tool to reach to the bottom edge of that
glass.

I don't.

But I did take the Strut Tower Brace off the Cabrio last week and put it on Poco. I would imagine the mounting plates on the towers would be the same thing.

I have to install the mud flaps we got ON the Clubman, and no I'm not doing it nude

^^ hahaha. yah, i think just having the plates on would
help it somewat.

still deciding if im going to need that or not.

japanparts contacted me that those wheelcaps are $50 each.
dang... that's going to cost more than my FitS's new stereo that im
going to order probably this week.

went motoring this am. got a 37F ding... im really at the very last
weeks of summer. lol i had to scrape my FitS's windshield. well,
its suppose to warm up a bit this week so hopefully no snow.

I should place my order to Griot's for that SprayOn CarWash so that
i can keep up with the salt dust on dry days. i plan to motor my
MCS this winter just on those dry days. my G will hibernate most of
the winter.

Did you guys know outmotoring has replacement seatbacks now?
my car was a display demo at the dealer 5+yrs ago, so it has quite a
bit of scratches from the getgo from people getting in/out of the car.
I always wanted to replace them, and finally got around to ordering
them. hopefully by the weekend it will have them in my hands.

The SprayOn Carwash worked GREAT for me this weekend

We motored a couple hundred miles on Saturday on wet mountain roads covered with leaves and pine needles and debris... I used a hose to blast off the heavy grit and leaf debris - then the SOC and toweled off using lots of monster fluffies and platinums... Car looked freshly detailed when done and it was QUICK. And I didn't need to carry a mitt and all my carwash stuff.

Car was good enough for our group pics...

Yeah, I'm a big fan. I've been using the wash bay to blast off the majority of the stuff, then using the Spray-On Wash with the green towels, and then Hydroing. And using my cover as much as is reasonable.

I miss having a driveway

I need to go order a gallon myself...

I just got a 15% off offer from Griots... used it to stock up on Leathercare Spray. Also got one of the window cleaner wand thingies (for the minivan with the impossible to reach windshield) and the soap dispenser nozzle.

ended up ordering a dustcover for my G using that 15% off.

i forgot to get the spout for the SprayOn Car Wash's gallon so got
2 of those spouts, and that magnetic paper towel holder.

beauty of those magnetic towel holders is that you can set the tension
of the roll so you can tear a piece off without having to hold onto the
roll. i have the verticle table-top type which is fine, but the
horizontal towel dispenser on my workbench doesnt have the tensioner
and it's a pita to use when my hands are kinda tied...
