i think i need to rewire my Z's new HU's antenna wire cause my reception outside the garage was pretty weak.

seems like the pioneer's 'antenna wire' is only a on/off switch and not a switched 12v power. going to rewire the remote turn-on wire to the antenna supply wire and see where it takes me. should be a quick fix.

yah, I sold it to CarMax. I was posting from the dealership while getting appraised, etc. started selling my bits that I took off too...by the time I was out of the store, 90% of the stuff had dibs. gotta luv nam.


Got juice feeding the antenna wire on the Z so it is finally complete.

Now I want to get some CF mirrors for it...and maybe KW's and and and...

ML is going to be doing the PW detail this weekend....(?)

no detailing planned for me. hasn't rained the last several days so my cars are still 'clean' for a dd. planning on pulling out the G and Z and doing some QD afterwards...but that's about it for me this weekend as far as car stuff.

next weekend i need to swap out the brake pads on the brembo's on the G. need to check the thickness again so i dont do it too prematurely (kinda lazy to do it pushing it off)

 

went motoring in my Z this am. was fun. SprayOn waxed the bugged areas. im going to motor her again tomorrow so after that, will do a full QD session. im going to pull out the G in a few hours.

in another note, i wired up a LED in the cup holder area on my FitSW.
going to test it out tonight.

 

Tomorrow as the PW just turned 3 yesterday it's the Birthday present this year

 

No detailing today, but tomorrow I will be showing TGS91 (Tim) my engine bay detailing method.

Lotsie- wow, we must have posted at the same time yesterday or my bb was delayed or something cause I didn't see your new set of wheels yesterday.

Nice scooter!!! looks like a fun toy. I always wanted a scooter but never got a chance to buy one. The main issues I have is there is a 4 lane hwy that id need to cross in order to get to the smaller side streets... And me wearing contacts don't help either. Eyes dry up real quick in the wind.

Congrats on the new fun toy. So where is your wife's scooter?

 

Once we get her through lotsie's scooter school, we may get another.

No, but it should get around 100 mpg. And it only took 20 minutes to do a full detail

I could see you on one of these instead..I had one many moons ago and loved it! 50cc, fully street legal, manual shifting fun from Yamaha back in 1988.

that's awesome. i like the comical look. heck the reason why i bought my ex-MINI was for its comical good looks. this might be my future MINI replacement.
