Must be summer, busy here
Okay only got one done. D@mn JB all to heck. Takes forever to make it look nice! It was a Simple Green wash, Swirl on orange pad (in some areas, twice), Swirl on white pad, Amigo on orange pad, Epic. Whew!
Lotsie- that's too bad. Hopefully tomorrow.
A lot of stores and carriers are closed today.
ML- shouldn't drew be helping you with this?
SimpleGreen wash, huh? Never heard of that but considering it works on wheels why not?
I motored my G this pm, was a nice drive. QD'ed as well. I got lazy and didn't wash the silver FitS. Oh well (who cares.

He did 90% of the polishing cuz my elbow doesn't handle it very well. I did the Amigo though! My other lovely assistant helped wash, dry, and clay. Probably would have saved an hour had she not been "helping"
Used Simple Green because I had no idea what was on the car so it seemed like the easiest way to strip it all off!
I think Drew is going to post some pictures though...4 year old paint that had never been polished...it looks great now!

....There's a thread around here somewhere showing just how bad the paint was between getting keyed, dealer installed swirls and 120k mi on the odo

Direct sunlight....
ML - niiiiice.
Lotsie - wheels!!!
ken - dude, without driving your car on the highway, do you EVER get past the break-in? I planned a work roadtrip the week I got Blimey - racked up his 1200 break-in miles in about a week... then VROOOOOOOMMMM!!!!

Motoron- that helper is a cutie.
120K miles... Dang, that's 4x the mileage my MCS had before I sold it.
ML- huh, you turned moderator. Cool!
Blimey- dang~ that's a quick way to get through blimey's breakin.
yah, my goal is to get to the 1K miles before snow fall.
I'm at 170miles or something as of today. Will be taking her out more starting this weekend. I need to familiarize myself with the organ pedal (gas pedal pivots from floor like the MINI's, a tad werd for me).
In other news...
I'm thinking I need to get a new dd next year. Something bigger (as in large, not lux). I took 3 people and their luggage to the airport... BARELY fit the FitS.
and the weight was too much for the car cause it kept bottoming out on the coilovers over each huge dip/bump.
Maybe the Honda Pilot or the Odyesse. Not the biggest fan of either one. Id prefer a TSX V6... Not sure what I'm going to do.

how's this for stubby?
too bad it's only a 2GB though. i wanted 8GB but this'll get me started. i couldn't tell from the pictures on amazon how big they were so this time i went to bestbuy and got it.
it's in the digital camera section, not in the pc section if anyone's interested.

no, cause if i wanted to run you over i would.

washed the FitS this pm (wash, hydro, vac the interior, clarity'ed the inside glass, dressed the tires). looks good. i noticed that my rear tires are pretty chewed up from the rubbing i had a few days ago.
i need to get a fender rolling tool.
going to pull out my FitS for a early evening drive in a bit... well, if i can digest my big dinner i just had.
I'll keep an eye out for FitS's aiming for me on my (relatively) quick trip down to Fry's and then on the journey back north!
went motoring in my FitS and it was a nice drive. thing is so easy to drive it's very relaxing. the MT on the thing is effortless and the suspension is setup soft so very forgiving. funny you mentioned Fry's cause i was planning on heading over to Fry's today early afternoon but endedup stopping at BestBuy and used the extra time i saved on washing the car.
time for some dvd and im out.
