Oh and I also did quite possibly the world's lamest wheel wash ever. I pretty much just sprayed the wheels with water cuz I wasn't feeling up to a thorough wheel cleaning. I also need my tires to be rotated but I'll have Dave do that.
have dave wash the wheels and dress the tires as part of the rotation service.

That's cool! But orange on a car is sucky. Needs to be clear or tinted.

OK. Orange makes sense for your car. Cause you're sucky too.

(at first I made a typo on my new keyboard and typed "sucky tool". which also works)

Yes just got done changing the 07 MCS oil and putting a new wiper motor, wiper blades on the daughters Pontiac. Of course I dropped a bolt in the fender well and had to take the fender well off to find it. Added another hour to that job! She's off to college again tomorrow so nothing like waiting to the last minute. We are going on our fourth straight day of thunderstorms with more coming tomorrow so It doesn't look like I'll get any car washing done.

motored my G this am and Speedshined and spot SprayOn waxed. looks great.

was a good drive. since my new brake pads are on the way i did some pretty spirited drives to use up my bremo pads. while doing so, i unintentionally blew past a new 328(?) vert. i thought it was some pos civic or something coming up to me from behind (i accelerated quickly but was within speed limit) only to see it was some stupid male doing a ricor flyby on his 328. LOL. for a second i was like Hmmm ?

think going to have lunch and take a good nap. going to play my V-Piano later on today.

We had a MINI FINI hitch installed on the Clubman while we were at MITM.
So we are going to get us one of these.

Only 600 lbs. with a tongue weight of about 80 lbs. The guy is in Indiana, custom builds each one, with only about a 2 week wait time from the time you order.

Mark

2009STI vs 2010 MS3 vs 09? 10? JCW Clubman for my new dd...

MS3 can probably woop both the STI and JCW as far as performance and interior features, and costs only $25K with tech package but looks werd...

JCW is nice but it'll probably breakdown and my dealer will again probably be a pita.

STI is nice but local dealer is a bunch of a-holes... Price is the highest.

i went over to mazda to check out the mazdaspeed3.

here's my impression: LOL! not just the front of the car, interior was kinda cheap looking, rear seat footwell was like less than a foot wide. it's for bargain hunter walmart folks. you get so much for so little folks.
well, you get so much crap for so little, imo. hahaha pass.

if im going to go this route i'll get the STI. i feel at home when i sit in that car's cockpit. plus ample foot well width so my kids wont kick the seatbacks.

dogdal- no i did not test drive it, i just sat in there for a couple of minutes playing with the steering, seating, and shifter. that was enough to tell me it wasn't a car for me.

i sat in the STI as well again and it all just felt more natural to wat a car guy would want in a car...steering wheel feel, position, shifter position, pedal position, etc. etc.

cant wait for the c4c to end. those car salesmen are all tired of dealing with people. today's the last day. will give it a thought another couple of days if i want to remove my aftermarket bits off the FitS and trade it in or not. this would also mean that im going to give up on the 370Z so i need to think a little.

im going to work on WheelShield-ing the lips on my G's wheels in a few.

going to stop by honda again tomorrow to give the S2KCR one last look and to see how much i can haggle the price down from its rip-off $38K price tag. the one at the dealer is new but a 08 and has a/c and stereo.

i suppose if i can get it down to sub $32K we might have a deal.
