Must be summer, busy here
is that we make it work.
going to do the other3 later on.
hey, my other stuff is scheduled to come in today.
including mywing lip thingie.
can't wait to install it. perfect timing cause snow's predicted later on this week and i want to minimize dry salt dust
on my car's butt.
i replaced the seatbacks with the new pair i got from outmotoring.
MINI PN: 52 10 7 131 644
they are sooooooo worth it!
they come in well packaged
in these black sleeves. then wrapped in a thick clear bag, and then
into a large box. no scuff wat so ever.
replacing them is very
easy too.
i also fixed my loose c-pillar tonight. man, my car's seriously looking
new again.
can't believe ive owned this car in such condition
for the last 5+ yrs.
MINI's outgoing QC sucks.

No kidding, i'm finding myself starving by 10:30am now.
I've got an annoying rattle somewhere on the right side that I just discovered. I can't tell where it's coming from, but it's damn annoying. Yuck.

Hey Ken, what are your plans for your old seat backs? Think they would fit on 03 standard, not sport seats? I can't for the life of me see how your old ones could be in worse shape than mine. Mine have seen dogs, wood, gardening supplies, and anything else I can stuff in back there. BW does bring them back some, but the scuffs and scratches don't go away.

lotise- actually i had to toss them out. the 03's have a pair of clips that
take quite a bit of yanking to remove. now if i was to use a prybar wrapped
in a towel i could've probably removed it without bending it, but i wasnt
planning to keep them so just yanked real hard.
it was pretty
bent up.

Tu1...see if this works...you might try having your passenger push in on the Secret Compartment Lid on the lower right side. This is the culprit with a rattle we have also on the right side. STUPID Tech. said it was the Seat Belt hitting the Pillar...UHHHHH NO!! He didn't have a passenger in the car and I don't think it was even Test Driven. Will re-bute the issue next time we have to take Molly in.
well, on some cars buckles do make noises though. just turning the metal
towards the inside of the car stops it. im sure it's not consistent on your
car but it does happen on some cars... i use outmotoring's seatbelt guide
thingie that extends from the headrest posts. quite cool.

I won't start a new thread because it seems that there is a lot of experience in this one.
I have used Black WOW a number of times on my wheel arches and running boards. I have used a small paint pad for application. The foam holds a bit of the WOW and the short brush fibers seem to work it into the texture of the vinyl. I AM only using a small amount.
The problem is that the black looks blotchy. Some is darker and other parts are lighter. I have tried to wipe it an hour later with a damp towel with little improvement. Washing repeatedly seems to minimize the effect.
Should I change applicators? I there something I can do to make it look great right after application?
