Someone stole the scoop out of my ice machine at work yesterday

So I went to Fleet Farm (farm supply place) and got 2 new ones. Now one is locked up in the cabinet, and the other is chained to the ice machine Take that, little thieving children!

motoron, she's talking you!

so ML, how do you like your new cooper so far?

this am started with a dragging conf-call with asia early morning so took the am off to motor my Z. was a nice drive. she started up like nothing happened too, after 3full months hibernation (which is kinda short, but oh well). the flatstoppers worked wonderfully.

I like it! It's definitely different, but so far so good.

Aside from the center stack being a complete train wreck

The weirdest thing...I can feel the gearbox shift. After 4 years of a car with a CVT that has no "shift" (because it has no gears)...I am SO aware every single time this car shifts gears.

It also rides more quietly and smoothly, and the suspension is tighter (less beat up).

The wheels are ugly and I can't wait to paint them.

ML - sounds good. yah, when i test drove the R56 years ago, it felt more refined than my R53 was. it felt more complete.

while on the test drive i couldnt figure out wat the hell they did with the dash...it had these comical buttons and stuff. until later i saw a picture of the dash in a zoomed-out photo in a article and realized it was the MINI wings logo. hahaha.

yah, ive tried the cvt R50 (?) like 5yrs ago and i thought it was cool.
at least now i guess you can really hold the gear when you're going around a turn and stuff.

are you going to go aftermarket? i think the crown wheels (17?) look good on the R56's...maybe someone has take offs here?

I have the 5-stars I took off Clara when I got the chrome wheels. I really like them and I think they would look cool white. So I think I'm going to paint them.

gotz my intake filter thanks to USPS delivering on-time

installed it (takes a little work because things are so damn tight in there. on the Z, they put a slot accessible from the top so takes no more than 15sec per side ) and rotated my FitS's wheels, installed the new lugs from Alex (tirerack), cleaned out the interior.

all i need to do now is wash the exterior after rain/snow(?) in the coming weekend.

Used Black Wow for the first time today, I'm impressed! I really had to resist not using more than the "pea size amount" but a little really does go along way.

It's raining here right now I hope it stays rain and doesn't turn into snow!

I don't know if I'll be doing anything to my car if it keeps raining. I'm getting a haircut tomorrow, and if it rains I will be cleaning the house. If it does not rain I will be probably cleaning the garage. It's a disaster.
