You can let us know here on NAM how the ride is going.
I laughed when you told us about the guy "speaking Dutch" next to you at some meeting.
Be careful... sounds like a good chance to score some points on your way to your next promotion !
yah, i've turned them down twice because i dont want the extra
burden right now since i got 2 little kids that want to play with dad...
my kids suck out all my spare energy. so, i asked
them to give me more time. im not really dying for cash right now,
but i am dying for more time and energy.

I can sure understand that, Ken. I was a manager when we had an Underwriting department here. When underwriting went away, I went to the professional/technical job of Claim Rep. Lucky for me, I didn't have to take a pay cut. But not having all that responsibility, not having to work long hours and weekends for no extra pay... I don't miss it.
You're still young (right??). Plenty of time for advancement after your kids are older, or even grown and out of the house. Good decision on your part, IMO.

I lived in Japan four years and didn't learn ANY of those words.

the cake that was on the lower shelf of the fridge covered in a plastic
clear box with a red and white label that said strawberry short cake
on it....?
