Yeah man! Join the 23 mpg club!

I am getting 23.5 MPG without the 15%...I am scared to see what my average MPG will be in a week.

For some bizarre reason, I get the BEST mileage when I'm in Chuck's speed range. I think it has something to do with gamma ray conversion efficiency of the flux capacitor, but I'm not sure.

Well, there was some anectdotal data a few years ago when the 15%s were becoming more widespread that the mileage increased with the smaller pulley. Someone was of the opinion that the phenomenon was due to folks shifting earlier because of the increased low-end torque with the new pulley.

So, you may be getting better mileage soon.

You're OK till the end of next week, when things are looking wet for you.

Yeah I've read that too. Im sure that your reasoning as to why the MPGs go up is correct...makes sense. Now instead of shifting at 5K for a good zing Ill be able to shift at 4K no prob. I think it matters how your ECU trims the fuel after the added air forced into the motor as well. That might depend on the software version that is in the car...might not. I don't know.

No I didn't have to heat them. I did manage to break tabs on both of my chrome ones when I was taking them off, so I won't be getting the core charge back...oh well...it is definitely worth it! That glue does have a 'kung fu grip' as Lyle said in his directions. He never mentioned anything about heating in his instructions either....

I would have to say that the b/o headlamp rings made a bigger aesthetic change to the car then the M7 ultimate grills did. This morning after parking the car I took a good look at it from a few feet away and it looks awesome!

so are you blacking out everything now then? should look good on
your car. I guess the one thing i would like to try is that
joey mod on the lamps...but not sure if i can make it seal correctly
after im done painting...

you should seriously consider the SprayOn CarWash. thing is pretty
good. just use a lot of product and towels. im considering the
gallon bottle next time. for me it's great cause i dont wash my car often.

infact, i haven't washed my MCS yet this season.

Had it in my Griot's shopping cart... just couldn't bring myself to spend $50 (for a gallon plus sprayer full).... Seems like I'm gonna spend $5 every time I use it... which would be frequently on a daily driver.... that adds up fast.... and I just think I can do a better job on the nooks and crannies with a real bucket wash...

I'll just start stealth washing....

cool! i still can't get myself to like Prima's bottles. the dripping
sprayhead (especially for Clarity), the continous refilling over and over
cause it stops working correctly once it passes the 1/2 way point.

I bought some extra spray bottles from Griots and I have my Clarity and Hydro in those. Griot's bottles RULE, especially now that they replaced their two-part bottles with the kind that has no seams.

Yeah... you can. That way you can buy their gallon jugs of stuff and have bottles to fill up. I fool them and fill them up with Prima stuff. Well... and their Wheel Cleaner and their Speed Shine.

Hmmph... just checked their site and can't find them now.

So.... once I had a bottle leak. I called them and told them it broke and they sent me a replacement. Get their spray nozzle for $3 and there you are.

ahh, so was that a blank bottle without the label? that would be
awesome. those labels are kind of a pita to remove.

my MF cleaner bottle is almost empty so im thinking about using that
as my Clarity bottle next. my primary Hydro bottle is already using
Griot's.

the vicinity all around...
