after supper i changed the coolant in my G. took a 1hr nice test drive
afterwards. think everything turned out well. my first time
doing a coolant change on a G.

unlike my MCS the old coolant was very clean so i just did a drain and
fill. can't believe it's already going to be my 4th year with my
G this coming weekend.

oh yah, forgot to mention the best part...

i had a real busy headache kind of day today at work and came home
with a real throbbing headache. took 2 advils... didn't do
crap. ate some hagdaz icecream. got a little better, but
still aching. had supper,still aching.

then i went to the garage and started working on my G and in no time
the headache was gone. my best medicine is working on my cars.

Haha- a satchel of crap. that was nicely put!

where the hell did my post go?

anyway, i had to stop at 4 place before i was able to rid the old coolant
from my G. autozone didn't take it told me to go to jiffylube.
went to jiffylube and was told to go to village hall (publicworks). went to
public works and was told to go to another jiffy lube... finally was able
to dispose it.

keep this up people are going to just drain their old coolant down the
drain... if a store sells something, they should be required to take the
old chemicals. how many of u guys toss old nicd and nimh batteries
in the trash? they need to be recycled too.

nono, i have the same thing coming to me today from Amazon so i
took the hex socket package over to USPS to return it to sears.com.

i used the return label that was part of the packing list on my padded
envelope...only for USPS to tell me no such addy exists. wtf
is going on with you guys... stupid snap-on, stupid sears, stupid USPS.

i told the clerk at usps to just ship it to the addy and to the zip that's
on the label. guy tells me dont blame them if it doesn't get delivered.
my return addy is on the package so im sure one of us would get it
eventually. wtf. wasted $5.50 today.

yah, note to self:

before buying anything from snap-on, inquire availability.
before buying anything from sears, check amazon

i hope my ordeal is over by end of this week.

btw, my G's going to be 4yrs old this coming weekend. what
shall i get her? Im thinking about giving her a nice coat of Best of Show,
but i want her to have something more than just wax and new coolant...

she already has a V1, suspension is nice and tight... only thing i can
think of is doing a full JDM conversion on the center console with new
a/c controls enabling her to have a nice 2din stereo system... the system
i would never use. hummmm.... any ideas?

The G comes pretty loaded so trying to buy her a gift would be like trying to buy my SO a new purse.

Maybe take her someplace she's never been before... a gift that would also be enjoyable for you !

so i checked my creditcard entries and find out that sears.com did in fact
charge my car after cancelling my order.

man do they suck or wat? called them up to tell
them my frustration. they said they're sorry and will reimburse me the
funds as soon as the hex socket set gets back to them.

i told her to reimburse me for the $5.50 i spent on the return freight.
she said she's going to send me a $10 gift card so i can waste even more
time at sears.

stupid sears.

on the other hand, amazon did great. both my hex socket set and
the 75degree offset ratcheting box wrench came in no prob.

Received and installed my Schroth Quik-fit harness tonight... it's awesome...

And even fits a guy of my Creosotian proportions.
