...... using a wash bucket is a thing of the past. i used it to rest

You don't need a bucket. Your wash mitt doesn't pull any dirt off.

When set on jet it has lots of concentrated pressure, and in combination with the shut off valve, you can set it so you get a perfect waterfall for sheeting water the car when rinsing.

Hmmm... I missed your review earlier, Mark. Thanks... good info ! I especially like that I can sheet the water without removing the nozzle. Very cool !

I bought that other nozzle pic'd above and this morning picked up a pretty nice shut-off valve. Man, with just the valve on there, it puts out a pretty darn powerful stream of water. And if you turn it off part way, you get a nice even spray. Maybe I'll just go nozzleless.

Glad you like that wash-nozzle, ken. Keep us posted on how it wears over the months.
this is the next generation washing. basically it's
safe to wash bucketless cause im rinsing the mitt frequently with running
water between the work-in shampoo. i think it's similar to the
2bucket method. I'll keep running the same nozzle until it dies.

yah, i use to run those valves a while ago but with the backup release
valve on the garage faucet my garage becomes flooded with partial
pressure. our village ordinance at work. it has to be
full pressure or off regardless of where the valve is...at the faucet or
at the end of the hose. stupid stupid stupid

yah, im just spreading the dirt all over my car.

nono, im rinsing the washmitt after doing a panel per side on the mitt.
that's why i think it's just as safe as a 2bucket method. i have
no scientific data...yet

I know this may not be worth the effort, but could you put one of those backup release valves in the line of the hose, and have it outside the garage, or is this thing part of the hard plumbing of the house, therefore no way around it.

It turns out that everything's normal.

I have the chrono pack and it's supposed to be at 3/4 because that's where 195F is. I posted a thread in the "1st gen - Stock Issues" forum and everyone that responded assured me that was normal. Geoffrey's now ready to go for a drive down to San Diego. I just need my navigator to wake up from his mid-morning nap and we should be good to go.

the faucet itself is made for the valve and without the valve you can't
put a standard water hose on it...so i really dont have a choice unless
i weld something...

but then again, i get minimal spills in the garage when i use my regular
nozzles so no biggie.

Either the MINI or the girl must've been really hot. Or maybe both.

Yes, happy F-day to y'all.

We went for dimsum brunch. Feel bloated now.

Gonna spend the afternoon washing the mini and applying protectant over the new stripes.

Sorry to hear that.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything. All I'll need is a little energy from fermented beverages.
