i think im going to wire up a remote wire from my fuse box to my
BassLink today.
ive been using the auto remote turn-on (based on the input audio signal)
but i hate how it drains the battery for a few min after the car is shut off...
and it pops sometimes when i start the car after gassing up or momentarily
shutting off the car.
Haha. I can't read that last line, can you bolden it up for me a bit?
Yeah this is a small summer job at a real estate agency, so while Im not making appts, etc Im just crusin the net.
ahhhhh, my neighbor is a realtor and he's having a hard time selling,
rather having a ball with foreclosers.
he knows the market value of our homes in our area so its always
kinda convenient for me to get our latest prices on our house.... in
return, i give him tips on car washing and minor detailing, etc.
im no OG.
Banter? We don't banter here. We loquaciously discuss and debate and illustrate and share experiences. Some of which relate to detailing.
Banter indeed. What do you think this is, the OT forum?
We are off to the airport soon to pick my son and his fiancee, they are flying in from Calgary. We have not seen each other for a couple of years. So I won't be around much this weekend, be good. And if your not good, which never happens here, live with it till Monday.
so i checked the wiring on my MCS's basslink. i just remembered
that it was a pita to remove the HU, so i just left it the way it is.
did replace one of the connectors that were getting worn though.
and went onto cleaning my wheels and Hydro-ing them.
Geoffrey is leaking washer fluid. The rear nozzle has been slowly leaking for about two weeks now but today I found a long stream of dried up washer fluid on the bonnet from the driver's side nozzle. It was about 100F today so I don't know if that caused the fluid to 'boil' and start leaking out of the nozzle(s). Guess I'll have to make another appt to bring him in..
Why does stuff always happen right before I have to go somewhere?? I think he secretly doesn't want to take me anywhere. He'd prefer to sleep all day/night.. just like Dave.

its possible that the air inside the tank expanded due to the heat and
pushed the washer out. welcome to MINI ownership where
just owning one is an adventure. never know wat might happen next.

Of course everything starts to happen right before his 2nd birthday.. Maybe if I get him a new toy he'll start behaving again.
