Well, paints are a LOT better now than they were back in the 70s but we had a cat when I was a kid who used to lay on the same spot on my Dad's Ford LTD. After about 9 months, you could see the bare metal. No kidding.

 

Wow! Your dad must have a "big" lot to be able to have a garden in Tokyo. Do you get to visit often?

 

CR&PW&JB- but his car is Hydro-lized so a little cat hair won't hurt it(?) Other than his nails. actually pops is ready to get his next car pretty soon so he doesn't seem to mind. the cat's name is "Gorochan." He is a neighborhood slutty cat. he gets luv from everyone and thinks he's king... I just realized he has my last name.

Yah, not too often but once a year or every 2-3 yrs depending on how busy my biz trip schedule is booked. My job's HQ is in Osaka so it's a little bit of a walk.

 

Okay, ken, what is the intepretation for "Goro" ? And don't tell me it means "studly, just like ken".

 

yah, pops tells me the cat's a lazyarse and lays around all day long. Gorogoro means layin' around so I think that's where he got the name
