Thanks... I gotta decide whether to buy one or build one like lotsie's. I have a single-bucket dolly now - until recently I didn't do two-bucket washes, but it's all I do now (at least on MY car)... and I'm getting tired of moving that second bucket...

Yeah, if you're going to use two buckets, a dolly comes in very handy.

Make or buy ? Depends. What do you have more of... time, or money ?

Then I suggest you buy instead of build. Unless you believe building things with your own two hands is a form of relaxation. For me, it's generally a form of frustration.

CR&PW&JB- wooo! Nice caddy. I too endup using two of my Griot's buckets when washing... One for shampoo, one for carrying the other tools (towels, dressing, salad, steaks, hydro, etc).

I'm going to have to take some lessons from you on car washing, ken. Your method sounds a lot... and I mean a LOT... tastier than mine.

Tell me, how long do you marinade your steaks in Hydro ?

You really need to spray a little carwash soap on your DD's before you go to bed.

Not as handy as a two-car garage.

You sure they're not all laughing hysterically at that crazy guy who goes out during coffee breaks to spray his car with some blue stuff and then wipes it all off with some kind of really thick, off-white, small towel ? The same guy who peeks out his window 30 times a day in the direction of that little car ?

I just bought a jar of that clay and I don't remember paying that much for it.

Of course, I probably paid more. I just don't remember. That way, if my S.O. asks me, I don't have to lie.

Yeah, same here south of you. Doesn't look too good for our European Car Show. I'll be doing the detailing on Saturday---show on Sunday.

$21 for the jar is a great deal. most of them are sold $29+ shipping.

Griot's SprayOn CarWash would come in VERY handy for situations like that.
