so yesterday i was telling the wife i was hoping a tornado would pickup my car and drop it from like 127ft. she was like so i was like and told her i want a tree to fall on it or something! big bowling ball sized hail.

she was like 'did your piano shipment get delayed again?' and i was like yes...

 

so roland screwed me too many times this time (over a month of bs delays) so decided to get the yamaha's flagship stage piano.

i expect to have in my hands tomorrow.

It FINALLY turned SUNNY Today!! Oldest Daughter and I will be hitting the Mall, after my UPS Order shows up, Mr. Brown just drove by, opposite Direction, so I now it will be here soon!! Lunch @ Sonic, UPS Store to ship a 17" LCD TV w/DVD Player to Oldest Daughter, then off to the Mall!! Molly wil be tagging along too!!
We found a Great Deal on a Samsung 32" HDTV 720p for our Bedroom last week for $450 @ Best Buy, getting OLD means you can't see MLB Scoreboards on a 17" TV!!

yah, bestbuy does have great deals these days and they even price match so they are very cool.

as for my digital piano... these new units were suppose to be already shipping back in early April from Roland..but was given the run around and was told to wait 2 wks. then 2wks came and went and was told to wait another 2wks. well, another 2 wks came and went and was told again to wait 2wks. even got a ETA 5/27 (today)... so i was patiently waiting and then they came back telling me to wait yet another 2wks to week of 6/6. i was like then to then to then to then to then to so decided to give yamaha another try.

the last yamaha keyboard i had was back in 1993 or 94 or something.

Haven't had time to Play with Radios, yet, and it's 1:36am!! Think I'll open them in bed and read the Manual so I can fall asleep!!

yah, that cigarette lighter adapter thingie does take some adjustments to get it right.

It certainly is nice to have her around, IKEA is the plan for Today, so I'm told!!

As far as New Toys, I think I have to wait a bit 'til I get my Surgery Stuff squared away and I'm back at saving to Pay Off the Molly Car. But we'll be having so much fun on the PDXMINI Club Runs I won't be worried about New Toys, just keeping Molly clean will be enough to keep me busy.

 

RJ- woo, IKEA sounds like fun, but sounds EXTREMELY LONG LINES AT CHECK OUT. they need to figure this out. it's like you shop for 2hrs or watever you think you're done but guess again, another 1hr to wait in the line to pay.

i think that's why they have a restaurant at the top of the building and at the exit cause you're hungry by the time you're done shopping and when you're done paying.

For what ever reason Oldest Daughter scrubbed the IKEA idea. We did end up going to Borders and BB, then Dinner @ Panera Bread. Today, we went to Panera Bread for Lunch!! Dinner is a Toss Up...Olive Garden, or a Local Diner?? Decisions...Decisions...Decisions!!

Molly got Drunk Today, our 1st Fill-Up since March 20th...4 Days before my Surgery!! Less than 20mpg...What's up with that??!!

Covered the F1 Turkish Grand Prix, shoulda won that one Just starting the DVR'ed Indy 500, it's oval so I think I'll be watching it live well before it's over.

 

So one of my spark plugs was blown out of the head today. I'll have to wait until Tuesday to have it towed somewhere for a Helicoil or Timesert repair. Might have them do all 4. I had them torqued to about 20ft-lbs, but it had been about 20,000 miles since they were installed, torque was rechecked a few hundred miles after installation.

 

nabeshin - sorry to hear about your plug. hope you get your car fixed soon.

today i didnt motor my cars due to iso-t-storms in the area. glad i didnt go cause we had a pretty decent storm this am. but i played my piano right through it. i didnt get wet or anything to that was good...

played my new yami all day pretty much yesterday. had a few more light t-storms in the pm. i use a UPS on my music gear so im not too worried about brown outs.

 

im training my brain to think two different things at once...
