Gotz a huge headache. stopped by the stylist after work to get my haircut. They do this special headmassage so that took care of it for a while but the headache came back so asked the wife if she can do that headmessage.

She put her hand on my forehead and said I'm burning up. she said to take some tyleno and get some z's.

We had snow today. I hate snow. Well, I hate snow in April. I don't hate snow from November - February.

 

i got woken up 3x not from coughing last night but huge headache. so i decided to change meds from cold medicine to Advil and it helped a little. at least now i can smell a little bit and taste is back a little bit.

right now im on a 7am conf-call with the customer and some goofs out of japan. my manager is so effing stupid he needs to be removed from power and just sent back to japan.

going to stay home today. since im sick anyway i might just work on the CF install today.

 

I'm pretty much back! Not much coughing, no headache, no sore throat, my face only hurts a little.

Going to take my older kid to his Sat. School (private) orientation and new student ceremony today. then, going to install my CF bit on my Z this pm.

Doing laundry now.

 

In more important news vs some bonnet stripes you can just painter's tape if you're so ****, I took a quick inventory of my detailing products and I need to order up some Clarity pretty soon.

installed the cf on my Z. those taiwanese need to learn how to use a ruler cause fitment was very bad.

but i managed to get it to fit very nicely and purdy. picts to come.

 

Because they don't know how to use the search?

 

I feel that asking makes the community more alive than if it were just a large reference section for people to search. People want an environment to promote fellowship, and gain a sense of belonging, over the dusty shelves of some library.

I agree with nabeshin on this one. There would be very little to talk about regarding 1st and 2nd gen MINIs by now, if we treated it all like "settled science"... new owners who are just figuring things out like to go through the progression of discovery / discussion / learning.

Same reason you can't just use google to prep for a couple of weeks, then take your medical board exams. You have to actually do the work... and ask the same questions (and figure out the same answers) that zillions of students before you have done.

 

went motoring in my Z and G on sunday. was fun.

took the G to work this am...man she looked completely out of place. like wearing a suit to farmer's market. took the G home and came back with proper matching attire with the rest of the argriculture.

i told my wife this and she said its time for me to look for a job where my car can fit in.

 

oh craps...i ordered something at amazon and it too is being shipped by SmartPost. damn it, wish they would just stop using this GARBAGE carrier service. im never going to see my package...

 

I wonder if that's the shipping method my current book from amazon is getting shipped by, two hours ago I checked in on the tracking number (carrier not provided just the tracking number) and they had it leaving a facility with a time stamp that even with the timezone shift the package won't be leaving for another 7min after this post, yet it's in the tracking history already.

 

It shows "shipped via SmartPost" on mine so urs could be USPS. Eitherway this service sucksarse.

 

Two hours from now it will be accepted by the USPS, then 3min later it will have arrived at my local USPS facility, which probably means another day of waiting, maybe I'll run over and harass them for my package.

why is CR such a POS when it comes to evaluating cars? see the clip, it's a controlled drift and no indication of tires lifting to cause roll over. they need to stick to microwaves and carpet cleaners.

Unacceptable. Take it back to USPS and tell them to follow instructions correctly and deliver tomorrow.

 

So my package sat for over 24Hrs and started moving from NJ. It says its going to take them 7 days to get here. and the funny is it states it's "On Schedule.".

WTF. Vendors need to stop using this garbage NOW!
