Hmmmmm... all I get after that first post-wash drive is some god awful sounds from the breaks the first two times they're applied. But if I did have bits of dirt/rust on the wheels, you betchyourass i'd be cleaning them.

Course! Most of the car is still clean, the wheels are easy to clean and makes a huge difference when viewing the whole car--so absolutely clean the wheels. I do. =P

Are you in one of the play cars pretending to be Paddy Hopkirk?

Just a note to myself to review as I get it:

Well I won nothing but hardly surprising. The show is by decades so me and 27 other 2000s cars were in the division. They didn't really announce which cars won, just names. There was a Z-06 that I'm sure got something and a very tricked out Lexus so who knows. I go to this show because there is a lot of variety and it is well attended (plus it is free).

Thanks for the pic, Chuck. I like that decal almost as much as the Actual Size decal. Funny stuff.

That's a good looking smoker you put together, Mark. Nice looking hunk of dead mammal flesh, too (I'd tell you you have a good lookin butt, but ken would get jealous). How did it turn out ??

oh man, that's a nice griller/smoker/charbroiler.

glad to see more folks running charcoal. although they
can be a pita to clean, it just tastes better.

i noticed that im low on hydro, clarity, speedshine (again. ) and
a few more car parking space... wish i had more garage
space.

Nice smoker, Mark

I've seen that kind before... but haven't seen one used... help a newb understand the operational concept... in the photo you're starting your charcoal in the starter chimney on the little pull out grate. When it's ready, what do you do? Push the grate back in and pour the charcoal in the small drum and close it or ???

imho those charcoal chimney's arent that great. i used mine but all it
did was started the flame, but also wind blew all the burnt news paper
into the neighbor's yard. oh wait, that's less cleanup so i suppose it
is a good thing.

feeling under the weather today...no motoring this am. oh well,
dad's overworked at work and at home. doing laundry now.

placed an order to Griots today for gallons of SpeedShine
and WindowCleaner along with a spout for the windowcleaner.

I found that WindowCleaner with its higher alcohol content (no,
do not know the actual percentages, just going by scent )
vs Clarity, it dries quicker during humid days.

a few days ago we experienced a few muggy hot days and clarity
had somewat a hard time wiping off after app, where as WindowCleaner
wiped off quickly. both cleaners show about the same
level of cleaning, but Clarity has a better towel gliding characteristic
which is a big plus, but apparently a minus on humid days.

i did a test on my house's exterior and interior glass the other week
and both cleaners are just as good. WindowCleaner dries a tad
quick unless you use plenty of product.

The small box on the right is for using as a smoker, no coals in the large part. There is an opening between the two for heat/smoke to get to whatever your cooking. Both parts can also be used as grills for direct heat cooking.

That pull out drawer is where you put the coals, then you close it all down, and control heat with the dampers. In the bigger part, if you want to use it for direct heat cooking, there is a removable tray for the coals.

Cool. I was wondering about that too. Thanks for asking, Blimey!

Gotcha - now I see that the pull-out grate is deep enough to put the charcoal on there. I was missing that.

You could all just come over for some barbecue, beer, and a day of swapping detailing tips
