We are driving to Sioux Falls to take the boy to college. Drive 700 miles up on Saturday and 700 miles back on Sunday and no MINI.
Then when I get home - no boy.
I'm the lone male in my house and the females begin their waterboarding torture techniques - bra on the shower, nail polish bottles on the work bench, HGTV on the TV, quiche, Nora Roberta - oh god, just kill me now!

I do, however. But don't tell her I said that...

Did a half-wash of the dirty parts of Blimey this AM.
I got some of the long-handled Griot's wheel scrubbers... work MUCH easier than the short ones. Threw the short ones away.
I got a monster swab assortment. Haven't used a single one yet.
Got a gallon plus a sprayer of the spray on carwash... will probably try it this weekend. Didn't buy the towels - have tons of Monster Fluffies and Platinums that I'm gonna try.
Got a sprayer of the undercarriage spray... haven't used it yet... love the labeling that basically says "this WILL KILL YOU if you drink it." Nice to have stuff like that around the kids...
I like the $10 Griot's nozzle - easily adjustable and works fine for me.
I can now attest that the CarboTech AX6 pads are DUSTY. Probably in the same league as stock, though the dust seems to clean up easily. But gawd, do they ever stop the car.... I gotta decide which I want more, clean wheels or spleen rupturing stops....

blimey-sounds good! but griot's recent selection of towels is actually
pretty damn good. the towel that comes with the sprayon car wash set
is fluffier than the PlatinumMF but not super fluffy like monster fluffy.
imho, monster fluffy is kinda hard to use other than for final buffing.
the only downside of griot's towels is the damn tag... you have to cut
it off and remove the tag completely with tweezers. otherwise it could
swirl your finish.
you cant expect everything from brakes.
the reason why they
grab well is probably because they wear faster and could eat up your
discs too. im still all for the stock brakes even though they are dusty.

So again, I recommend against using this stuff. If you do and like it I have a gallon I would give you.

Paul, I seriously recommend against using this goo on any part of the car. It is very much a heaping pile of doggy doo doo. I think it is basically 100% Silicone oil and while it really makes things appear to be clean, using motor oil would give the same effect and be less of a mess.

i have to completely disagree with this comment. ive used it a few
times on some spattered areas on my MCS. it worked well. cleans
off nicely.
you probably didnt use enough towels.
yah, they tend to have accidents while agents are most busy oroff.
did DP stopped carrying Wizard's Bug Release? was about to link them to
the fit forum but DP doesn't show it in their line up.

anyway, linked Wizard's own site since it's cheaper anyway.
manthere were a lot of bugs on the FitS's front end from yesterday's drive...
Well, i'm not sure about the relationship to accidents and agents' hours, but I can assure you there is a direct link to accidents and people having their heads up their asses.
Of course, drivers are not the only ones that are stupid. I had a police officer tell me today that he marked our insured as the at-fault party because the other driver was on a larger street than our driver.
But officer... this is a disputed traffic light, both drivers say they have a green light, there are no witnesses. WTF does it have to do with the size of their respective streets of travel ???
