Must be summer, busy here
after 2hrs i finished painting the aero kit's bottom verticle lip that was
chipped pretty badly from the last 5yrs...well, only about 28k miles.
also touched up all the chips on the front end.
i masked off the bumper and sprayed matte black paint. car almost
looks new again.
im happy.

now my neck is kinda stiff...
always happens when i work
on the very low parts of the car.
i over slept this am and missed my window to motor my MCS.
oh well, let the paint dry even more...i say.
need to do the
dishes anyway...

Mark
the chip was only down to the primer so after cleaning it all the way, i
took a 400grit to lightly scuff the surface and hit it with enamel paint.
if i was real picky i would've sanded it down to the aero kit, but being that
it's so low to the ground i didnt feel it was necessary. plus, im sure by
the next drive i'll start seeing some damage to it anyway.
i'll just
repaint it every few years.

Finally going to wash Geoffrey today. It's been nearly a month since his last bath and I seriously felt bad when a super clean R56 S parked next to him yesterday and Geoffrey wasn't looking his best.
Noreaster still blowing through here today... hopefully will blow out by tomorrow and Blimey can have a bath. Put new front pads and rotors on the Town and Country on Wed. night, and replaced a front swaybar endlink... with seized threads on the lower bolt... PITA...
Only if you mash on the throttle too hard.
(it's actually the ASC, not the DSC, that causes problems... but almost everyone lumps both into one bucket they call "DSC")
I always switch off ASC/DSC when turning out into traffic if I'm gonna punch it... otherwise that nasty total loss of power in the middle of oncoming traffic can happen, which SUCKS...

to work, but decided to just take the morning off and going motoring
in 15.
will go to work in the afternoon.
then, followed by a nice Speedshine session.

sometimes i just get a
urge to be pushed, not pulled.
was a fun ride. speedshined my MCS anyways and slicked the wheels,
clarity'ed the glass. also plugged him back onto the charger for next
week's run.

i already got him a set of wheels/tires a few months ago so that was his
early b-day present.

washed the DD's after motoring my G, ran some errands before lunch.
think im going to relax this afternoon.... probably wont happen due to kids.
have to say the FitS sits my 2 kids comfortably and the wife while carrying
around my large cooler box and all the groceries. it's a great grocery getter.
no need to crawl inside the car to buckle up the kids.
doing laundry now.

Washed hydro'd nero'd Blimey this morning, and finished the brakes on the town and country...
Blimey looks good, but is getting a little swirly... No surprise since most of him has never been polished... Gotta schedule a day for a full polish job soon..
Happy bday to ken's mcs...
