I was supposed to be. Something happened at the in-laws beach house...the rental agency's house cleaner's car got broken into and all her keys stolen or something...so today they were re-keying all the locks and we didn't have new keys yet. Or some stupid thing like that, whatever. So we're going tomorrow instead.

Here are some photos of the Cabrio after I was finished. Not great shots, I think I need one of those headlamps OG has I do need to get some better lighting in the carport.

Was raining here, but it's starting to clear. Going to wash both our MINIs later, and try out the Wheel Armour I got from DP yesterday. First I have to swap the all-seasons on the Cabrio, then put them on mine, clean and wax my holies. They are due to be rotated and I want to get that done before we head down to the Dragon.

That Cabrio is covered in stone chips, thats is one of the side effects of wheel to wheel track racing.

Nice job, Mark. But I thought your price included filling each and every chip.

That cabrio is wikked. It's also a case study in why clearbras exist.

It has a bra, bonnet, bumper, leading edge of arches, the bra has chips in it, but as luck would have it, lots of chips on edges that are not covered. Oh just got an idea, develop a spray on clear bra,,,,,,hhhmmm could make millions if I had a clue how to

It was a trade for vet services, if it included filling all those chips, we could afford our own zoo

And the driving lights? Coming back too?

(IMO your car looked really sweet with stripes AND the driving the lights! )

Stripes. Good for some, great for others For me, I like my bonnet without tassels As long as your crank gets turned, it's all good

yah, i liked it without the stripes for simplicity.

so today, im going to motor my G, wash my dd's before lunch,
then pull out some paint and start painting my FitS's fog lamp
pieces and also paint the rusted rotor hubs black. going
to rotate the tires in the process and mount 5mm spacers in
the rear to see if i can fine tune the steering response/handling.

if i still have time im going to put my mesh wheels on the Legacy.

i see!

so i got back, dusted my G off, SprayOn waxed it, Slicked the wheels...
my next door neighbor is using his powerwasher to clean his garage
floor right now so shut my garage door... hoping he finishes soon so
that i can get back to washing my dd's.

i hate neighbors with powerwashers cause the mist just flies onto your
car.
