man it's windy today... not a good day to be working on a car outside.

the biggest issue is not so much the work outside, it's the dust that
collects on my G and MCS WHILE the garage door is open.

Haha, comments like that would get me in trouble, I am glad my Fiance doesnt visit NAM. No I miss her more than the garage, but the long distance thing sucks, so I try not to think about it that much.

Then close the door and stop rubbing it in

My daughter called about 2 hrs ago and said I'm washing my car (her car a 99 Nissan that never gets washed, ever!) what do I use for soap the Mystic and how much, and do I just use the lambs wool thingy and me being very busy at work with customers in front of me just says yes! DOH! By the time I would of had the chance to call her was an hour later. I just figured the damage is done, but now am afraid to go home and see how bad. Now my stuff is CONTAMINATED by Nissan dirt! At best I'll need a new lambs wool mitt and at worst SORRY I spilled a gallon of hydro on the driveway or the Monster Fluffys are on the ground or...............................AAHHH!

First, RELAX The Nissan ( I still call them Datsuns ) contamination is reversible, the mitt will be fine, it's purpose is to lift dirt off. Just rinse it out well, or even wash it in the washing machine, and hang it to dry, and it will be fine Same goes for the Fluffies, just wash them, air dry.

After you do that, you need to hide your stuff where you will remember where it is or lock it up

Tomorrow: AM - Fraternity Initiation. Wear a tie and be cooped up inside.
PM - probably work on my 4 wheel pad/rotor swap...

Sunday: AM - church early. Then wash Blimey. Drive dirty MINIvan to lunch at mom's. Spend a few hours. Come home and start part 1 of Blimey polish and detail... (which will continue on a part-time basis through Wednesday AM... freakin work gets in the way of fun...

Wednesday NOON - spring kids from school, and drive to MOTD!

Tomorrow: Wash Clara, remove wheels and clean wheel wells, and rotate tires. Scrub carpet mats and let dry (my new Canadian rubber mats came...they'll be good for winter, but to be perfectly honest, they don't go with the whole aesthetic thing I have going on...they're a little too "utility" looking. I LOVE them, just not on my car so much. Boo). Go to friend's house for martinis and dinner.

Sunday: Go to church. MAYBE do wheel project if the wind has died down *crosses fingers* Probably go grocery shopping.
