Raining off and on here all day today. We had a major storm blow through here yesterday, lots of big branches down. Going to help one of my neighbors later today drop a big limb that is hanging over his garage.

Now we are off to the Arch with my son, we will get a great view of the river flooding from up there, then going to the airport as they go home today.

i use a kiwi shoe polish foam applicator. it's small and perfect for the arches.
it has a plastic handle so you wont get any on your hand either.

ok, one thing i noticed on that griot's water hose nozzle is that it's too
damn convenient that my BugRelease has no time to work itsself after
i apply it onto the bumper. guess i'll need to 'slow down' alittle bit
after the initial wetdown and BugRelease app.

as far as my new tiny griot's 'black wheel wash bucket' i got last week,
it's a perfect size to put my wash mitt after the wash. it's like my laundry
bucket. i wash 2 cars at a time so it's good to have
somewhere to put my washmitt instead of the drive way.

Thanks for the advice. I just don't want to use anything that soaks the stuff up, especially since its $25 a bottle!

The DP blue skinny is the best bet for BW. Little soakage and it has some backbone so you can scrub any wax spots in the plastic texture. Soft and foam is what I use when putting on Black Renew when you're just wiping and don't need to scrub at all.

the kiwi pad is firm so it wont soak up much. it keeps the product at
the surface very well which is important.

Motored about 860 miles with my club this weekend... rained every night while we were sleeping in the motels, so got to Hydro in the AM.

Thought of ken yesterday when I was motoring for a few hours back toward home on the interstate, um, at speed, and a G shadowed me for a while...

Ken sounds like he has his stuff together, that's for sure! Hours of motoring has to be doing something right...

How do you post pics on here? It is different from how we used to do it. Do I have to upload it to a 3rd party photo site and then import it in?

My M7 ultimate grills are being installed as we speak and once I BW the trim I think it'd be worth a pic.

yah, today is the last of my 4 day weekend. it's going to be sunny
all day.

motoring my MCS this morning was fun. 60F so kinda breezy too,
perfect for motoring with the window down. will take a break for about
1hr to let the traffic die down a little bit. then pulling out my G.

they are two completely different flavors so there is no
"favorite." if one could satisfy both cars the older one
would've been replaced with a completely different new
car with yet another different flavor.

each has something to offer in their own way.
even the boring to drive legacywgn. that awd kicks ****
on snowy roads.

DUDE. I AM PISSED! So I get a call from the body shop and apparently the mechanic or whatever couldn't be in so my grills won't be installed until thursday! This is the second time! He said he would give me a discount now. And my DP stuff isn't here...not a good day on the car front. But I did go motoring for a bit despite the disgustingly humid weather.

Sorry about the b****ing here. Just frustrating.

that sucks. hope you get your stuff soon.

i got my FitS's mugen window visor today and installed them. i can
now keep the windows cracked open when i motor out in the rain.

since my car's parked outside i put painter's tape over the area where
the adhesive is to keep the morning dew off. want to make sure it
is dry 24hrs before getting them wet. therefore i got this
blue strip going down the top sides of the car and looks werd.

also motored my G this morning and QD'ed. cleaned off all the bugs
on the air diverter under the front lip spoiler too. looks
great.

I was going to do the upper one, which would be easy. But the middle and lower ones are more of a pain, and I don't have a saw to cut the plastic shroud in the middle grill. So looks like I'll be doing it for cheap now...knock on wood.
