oh yah, btw, i forgot to note one thing on my review from my recent
purchase. Griot's still puts those damn tags on their MF towels which
swirls the paint when it comes in contact with the finish.

i sent another user review today that i am not happy with those tags.

i removed them one by one yesterday. it can be very time consuming as
you need to get a pair of tweezers to get the shorter side out of the
threads.

When my wife thinks I am crazy, I show her posts like this for some perspective. Thanks, Ken!

(Just to be clear, I'm with you on that.)

ewwwwwwwwwwww... nice !!

I like this one a lot... good price, looks like it'll put out a good amt of water in a nice pattern, and appears to be well made.

Thanks for that tip, Ken. I spent 30 minutes today shopping for nozzles and never did find any that I was really excited about (yeah, I'm goofy... I can get excited over a hose nozzle).

And I think after two years, you can start calling me by my given name. You do know what it is, right ?? (test question to see if you've paid attention).

The bad news is, you don't get a choice of colors on the site. Maybe if you order over the phone you can get a little extra customer service.

hey, no problem CR&PW&JB (aka Kipcliff ).

i have a silver one that looks similar to that and it works pretty well. it
doesn't spray in a super clean pattern like the griot's million dollar nozzle,
but it does a good job. and, i pretty much use the flood mode anyway
most of the time unless i need to blast the undercarriage. the best
part is that you twist it all the way right or left and it will stop the flow so
you dont need to spend another gozillian dollars for that little switch like
on the griot's one.

You guys.

Yeah, kent, that Griots billion dollar nozzle should be really nice. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a nozzle that cost more than the very nice hose.

This nozzle will do the trick, I'm sure. Thanks again, kent.

I posted pictures of the clearbra-on-the-stripes install here.

Pictures aren't great.

Now to touch up the paint chips.

hey, if anyone needs a replacement driver side cooperflags standard black, let me know. i still have one from that one repair i did on my buddy's car earlier this year. he had a tear on his passenger side so we just bought
the pair to replace his. which means i have a new driver's side just
sitting in the basement.

When set on jet it has lots of concentrated pressure, and in combination with the shut off valve, you can set it so you get a perfect waterfall for sheeting water the car when rinsing.

i tried my new griot's nozzle. it is kick ****. the spray pattern is very clean.

SO~ easy to dispense soap onto the car.

i didnt even use my bucket. all i did was use the "shower" mode to
wet down the car and wash mitt, turned the top dial to dispense soap to
coat 1/2 of the car, turned the dial back to water mode before i put it
down, used my washmitt to work the shampoo, rinsed the mitt on occasion
while working the shampoo. this is why i didnt need the wash bucket.

then rinsed off the car in the same shower mode. moved onto the
other side of the car, repeat. then did the wheels using my boar's hair
brush. i was done washing the car IN THE SUN in 7-8min.

Hydro'ed as usual and dressed the tires.

HIGHLY recommend this nozzle. :thumbups:

i only used 3 ounces of Griot's CarWashto do 2 cars. yes 2 cars.

using a wash bucket is a thing of the past. i used it to rest
my wash mitt.

btw, i used the nozzle pretty rough... didnt break. i even stepped on it
by accident. no issue.

Wow, ken... I can't even imagine washing one of the MINIs without a bucket. Did you break out in hives while washing ?

I bought that other nozzle pic'd above and this morning picked up a pretty nice shut-off valve. Man, with just the valve on there, it puts out a pretty darn powerful stream of water. And if you turn it off part way, you get a nice even spray. Maybe I'll just go nozzleless.

Glad you like that wash-nozzle, ken. Keep us posted on how it wears over the months.

I didn't buy any hoses or nozzles, but I got Dave to rotate my tires for me this morning.
