Why am I hearing the sound track from JAWS playing in the background? Could it be that some snooty high end sports trash drivers are about to be savagely humiliated? Hmm...

Lmao !!! Thats a good one. I think you might be right. And to make this even alittle more better. Check out my next photo. Take note how ugly those heat shields are next to that nice new turbo. ALL I DID WAS REPLACE TO TURBO !! Thats my story I'm sticking to it.

Going to run an oil cooler I see. I like how you did the coolant loop.

Thats the water line obviously. I might re-do some of that plumbing so i can utilize the aux water pump with an additional cooler just for the water before it goes into the turbo. Might be more headaches than its worth and a bit of over kill.

I noticed in one of your shots of the engine that it still has the old plastic water pump. If it hasn't been replaced recently might be a good idea to replace it with the updated aluminium one while the engines out of the car.

Good idea. That is the plastic water pump. Do you have any idea where to get a metal pump ?

There are a few different manufactures of the pump Valeo, Hepu & Graf. I don't know which company produces the OEM part and as far as where to buy hopefully your fellow country man can help.

Its in the car. Bell housing is bolted up, flyweel to torque converter nuts are tight, passenger side engine mount is on. Gotta do the small stuff now.

Prolly internal. I went to put it on and spun the drive. It spit oil out the vacuum port. It still creates a vacuum but since i have so many new parts. Might as well get a new one of those as well.

You are welcome Sprintcars. Pierburgh is OEM.

scubbysnacks - They are all metal now, not plastic on the housing ( which leaks over time ) anymore. Had replaced mine with the Graf one. Graf and Saleri have been flipping back and forth for OEM supplier. On some of the aftermarket ones you will have to nug the engine motor over or engine a little away from the firewall / frame so the pulley will slide over the new waterpump end mount that has a little extended ****.

Install info here water pump and thermostat. When installing the new waterpump and the pulley
