Hi I managed 6 pages on a straight through read of this thread so far. All good stuff. Excuse me if you have covered this question in the later pages:
Your turbo that you ordered. Do you know if it has a bigger exhaust/turbine housing than a JCW turbo? Does it have a bigger or different exhaust/turbine wheel than a JCW?
We feel that is the current limitation to our power and wanted to check if you have a different piece of kit, therefore a different limitation.

Theres definitely different work done to it. You can see the turbine wheel has been clipped. Ive read alittle about what it does but i didn't get far into it. If i were you i'd look into that. I didn't look at the graphs as to power and boost pressures for were i wanted to be. The owens fit best. Thats why i bought it. Not to mention, manic is extremely familiar with it and I've had a basket case for over a year. So i went with basically a set up that a tuner has worked with. The compressor wheel is a cnc'd billet wheel, the turbine wheel does has more blades. There are some issues than can arise from trying to get high boost numbers. Since that could be the case as I'm told, why bother to buy a bigger turbo. Just buy one big enough to get the least amount of lag and not to small that it works its a@" off. IDK, thats just me.
I'll be finishing up the engine install this weekend. Monday and tuesday i will have the ecu,methanol kit and a new vacuum pump. The boost will be somewhere around 1.4,1.5 and 1.6 bar. Theres also nitrous with 35,75 and a 100 shot. Not using nitrous, methanol use only at the highest boost setting, how much HP and TQ do you guys think it'll make ?
