Wow great pic's from everybody today!

Walk sexy angles on those interior shots. And Evasive, looking great as usual. Do me a favor though... Keep the mod's coming, and get to MITM this year!

Thank you sir.. Yeah, I really have a sense of making the car my own. I think mini's are best for the personality that you give them.. Oh and they are fun as hell to drive.

Cleaned my UNI CAI Filter. Also bought a hydraulic jack so I can get my wheels off and detail them for the AMVIV Car show. Funny how the car goes up on 2 wheels when I use one of the jack points. Makes you take a step back the first time!
Also, I swear every time I do something for my MINI, oil change, clean filters, even a good washing, she rewards me by running better when we go for the mandatory motor afterwards!
I Love My MINI!!

Finished first day with front strut, dry in morning, wet at night, felt a noticable difference from apex thru out of corner. Front stuck better. Now need to find rear sway bar to adjust turn in. Any suggestions?

I'm running hsports swaybars and really like the three way adjustment. Max setting makes it very tail happy. Lowest setting makes it nice and neutral.

Last night I plastidipped then painted my brake ducts orange to match the mirror caps. Haven't put them back on yet but with the plastidip base coat, if the orange is too much it will hopefully be easy to reverse. ...and if it's not too much, I'll probably keep finding things to make orange until it is.

I use the madness motorworks 22MM solid bar in the middle setting. Love it.

Went to MINI of Pensacola today to have my Halos wired.

When the Serice Manager called me, he told me that the technician had a JCW steering wheel and shift ****. He said he would sell the steering wheel installed for $200 and give me the shift ****. I said do it.

They go perfect with my Rooster Red Colorline interior.

Very nice!
You really made out like a bandit.
That Rooster Red color line is perfect.

What are your tail lights like?

I want to get rid of my '09 R55 tail lights with the amber lens.

22mm but it is hallow.

Decided to put my stock exhaust back on. The old man in me couldn't stand the loud exhaust anymore.

Less than an hour. The Halos were already installed in the headlights (custom-made). The technician hooked them up to the parking lights, so one click of the switch and they are on.

The amber LED turn indicator is inside the red LED area.

Nice!

I wish the amber lens on the 09 R55 tail lights could be knocked out as easily as the lens on the front turn signal...

Clicked over 5,000 miles this morning on the way to work. Took delivery on 3/28/12, so it's moving right along.

No issues at all so far, just delightful motoring!

So this is aftermarket and the dealer installed them? I'd love the details!

The headlights were custom-made from Performance Auto Solutions. I installed the headlights, but I wanted someone who knew what they were doing to wire the Halos. Our local MINI dealership (MINI of Pensacola) has a technician that will install just about any aftermarket products for you. He is really good and quick. After the tech wired the Halos, I had him adjust the headlights. What a difference that made. Our MINI dealership has first rate sales and service staff.

Looks like you've found a good spot, MinMin!

Going to wash it after work today and then head over to the Airport Diner in Manchester to meet some MINI friends from around Southern, NH!

dropped it off at the dealership for a half filled, yellow check engine light. it threw a P173B diagnostic code and i suspect it's a cooling system issue. my garmin ecoroute has been showing coolant temperatures swinging wildly between 120-160 degrees the past few days. i even saw the temperature drop 50 degrees sitting at a stop light.

they're keeping overnight, but they gave me a countryman to drive around while they work on it.

7,100 miles on the odometer
