What did you do to your mini today?
#3 on the coil is a jerk. I popped off mine this past weekend to check out and its already turning at 38k miles again. First one lasted 87,551 miles...
Mine lasted 72,000 and change. I figured it was time for a new set of plugs too. I bought the car used and it still has the factory Beru plugs. Now, it has four new Bosch plugs. I will keep an eye on cylinder #3.
A few days ago, I put red MGP caliper covers on. Clearance was close, but didn't need spacers. Looks good on our Chili Red convertible.

Installed the JCW 380 injectors a couple weeks ago to complete my R53 to JCW DIY (save for the ported head).
Today I had an appointment for my local Mini dealer to flash the DME with the JCW210 code! Glad I lucked out with the service rep and senior tech that were willing and capable to tie it all together.

I too wanted mods that are truly “bolt-on” proven tested reliable and easily attained (eg OEM).
Def wish I put the 380s in sooner!
Took out the R56 justa from a 5 month hibernation. Did not do anything on it just inserted the key and it run like a champ. It needs a good exterior cleaning though. R56 are getting rarely seen in the road now a lot of F series though. So the older the 2nd gens go the better.
Went for my oil change Sunday, my car is pretty low so they drove it over the flat lift the guy did the job and as he drove off the lift the front aero bumper caught something on the lift and tore up my front bumper off my car. All broken, they said they will order the part and make it right.
I just bought mine so I haven't done anything to it yet! The dealer is still putting in a new timing chain as part of the purchase agreement. I did get my order of amsoil total, 0W40 classic. Funny my oil came in before my car LOL. I guess that shows what kind of owner I'll be. 😎
Replaces all my runflat with regular tires - Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-season, thank you to Vetsvette for the coupon. Finally fixed my cigarette lighter issue and put a new battery to my remote key. Now need to get jack kit. Have a good day. Happy Veterans Day!!!

Today is the day my Cooper S was dropped off and I drove him home for the first time 14 years ago.
I ordered him out of San Antonio, TX and had him trucked to Phoenix. On Nov 11th 2004, he was dropped off. Time flies.
Backstory... back in the day, it was a 12-14 month wait in Phoenix for a Cooper S. Most other dealerships were charging $5000 - $10000 over MSRP with no wait times... San Antonio did not charge over MSRP and guaranteed me 12-13 weeks after I placed the order.
