They also had one wheel with offsetting weights, I removed equal amounts from both sides and now it balances.
One more tip most tire techs DONT KNOW...

The yellow / white dots on the side walls of tires should be aligned with the valve stem on both steel and aluminum wheels. It the lighest end of the tire, this will help minimize the amount of weight needed to balance a tire = Less weights needed on wheel.

Clayed and waxed for the first time after having bought it back in march.
In the next few days I'll restore the black trims using Meguiars products, the ten years start being visible on these parts..

Used the BimmerCode app to code my f56 to start in sport mode and not lower side mirror when in reverse.

Bought a second engine.
Got some good aftermarket parts with it, that were unknown at the time of purchase.

Plans - Porting the cylinder head and intake manifold, larger valves. Seeing if there is anything that can be done to the blower transfer tubes. Possibly a slightly hotter cam if possible in good ol California.

You can so this sort of thing in NCSExpert for the R models. There are some good threads on NAN and videos on YouTube about doing this. Here is a start
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...beginners.html

I have also seen people post to find people who will will do this for them if they don’t want to do it themselves.

I had one of those mornings, I grabbed the key to the car I wanted to drive this morning and when I got out to my drive way and pressed the remote button I was surprised when the car I was looking at was not the one that unlocked, I stood dumbfounded. I returned to my pub table (where I keep my keys) and swapped my keys out and returned to the driveway, once again I pressed the remote and .... again the wrong car unlocked. I softly began laughing at myself. Oh, Well I'll just drive this one.

Motor On!

Very nice project indeed! I always wondered if mine would be as nice if dechromed, but I have the fully chromed front grill and lightning blue doesn't Mach as well with black as BRG does, IMHO..

I have to disagree, the lightning blue blacked out ( not with plastideep) will look very sharp.

Thanks for the reply and the hint, Ben. Do you have any link or image to point me to, to have an idea of a blacking out outcome on a LB MINI?

I placed in the garage some of the parts that I have replaced in my car. It doesn't not represent the time it takes to do it...
