What did you do to your mini today?
Lets see...ordered some new parts for the MINI
Wheels: 16" Rota RB in Gunmetal
Tires: Continental ExtremeContract DW
M7 Strut Tower Brace
OEM Cabrio Cross Brace
Mini Madness Lower Stress Brace
Needless to say, I am excited for when they all come. Too bad though the Rota RBs were backordered, but I'm ok with that. It'll make the wait even better!
A few months ago I also had ordered some new bushings, motor mounts, and a serpentine belt. Couple all this together, I got my work cut out for myself and Egan.

Removed the yellow air bag warning stickers from the visors, using rubbing alcohol.
They came off cleanly, but it's very obvious that something was there. The vinyl underneath where the stickers were is much lighter than the rest of the visor.
Looking into a way to rectify that.
It's still an improvement over those ugly stickers!
They have irritated me for almost 3 years.

How well do these stickers stay on the textured surface?

Snaps, is that a key chain in your sig pic?
Well, I didn't remove my original label, I stuck those stickers over them, and they stick very well. If the sticker has been removed, depending on how textured it now is, they may not stick as well. Can't fully answer that. :-)
Yes, they are no longer printing those stickers, or a lot of their stock, and are blowing them out, which is why they went from originally $15/set to now being $3.75/set.

I swapped out the factory JCW airbox filter for my new mini madness filter. Wow while it might not generate the 5hp that mini madness claims, the sounds, oh the glorious sounds. I can now clearly hear boost dumped at each shift, and the motor seems to pull stronger at the high RPMs. Before I just had an exhaust snarl, now the intake sounds the part too.

I did get a good deal on some side scuttle decals that I might use one day, when I take the vinyl off my A panels.
How did you know?

Sending a PM now...
Thanks!
It is, but they have some really nice stuff at reasonable prices. My '09 MCS is their MINI of the Month for May.

Took Da Wife down to Monterey on Sunday. Stayed overnight there, drove to Laguna Seca on Monday morning. Parked Fenimore (no track days for him yet!) and spent a half-day or so playing in a stock-ish Miata on the track. In the rain. Had a few "moments"--some of my own, some from people looping in front of me--and saw two people smack their cars into walls. (Oops!)
Da Wife ran in the formula car class that was next on the track. Those evidently are not much fun in the rain.
Drove home again, managed over 50 MPG for the weekend--even driving home in the rain!

How the HECK did you manage THAT
I get 37.8 on a daily basis, which I know is great!
Added a little something extra to my Whalen...

It matches the red accents on the outside of the car pretty well I think.
Also emailed G2 about some chips in my caliper paint (also red). Within 20 minutes I had an email back saying they were sending another kit for free. And an hour after that I had a tracking number from fedex. Now that is customer service!!
Also, I FINALLY called and made an appointment to get the curb rash on my wheel fixed next week. Woo Hoo!
Tomorrow it is off to get the sunroof rattle fixed...again. And then rotate the tires and wax the wheels.
Feeling very productive today! After months of procrastination it's about time!
