Also wouldn't mind getting in touch with that wheel guy myself. I have an idea...
you should definitely swing by I forgot to mention, there will also be a bunch of raffles with thousands of dollars of prizes (including: a free powder coating for a set of wheels as well as a bunch of other goodies I'm hoping to win the powder coating, will be buying a bunch of raffles )

Love your orange accent mods, Kirby !

I'd go ahead and do the brake ducts with the same color code as your mirror caps to bring some balance to the overall them and make the front pop a bit. Would not re-yolk the headlights. That would be a step back and the shade of orange would not quite match.

Waxed it for the first time using the new Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax...awesome stuff, and smells amazing! Paint is smooth as glass now!

As you know, I never made it. Ended up putting in 19 miles on my bike. With a four year old in a baby seat on back. It was a good day for it, but my mind wandered to Sunken Meadow a few times. Hope you won a raffle!

Maybe a link to some pics?

Kirby looks great!
You are so creative.

We went to Jacksonville to attend our dealership's special event "Take Mini Out to the Ball Game."
Although the game was nearly rained out and we were unable to parade our Minis around the field due to the wet conditions, it was a really fun day.
Great food and camaraderie.
Yay for the Jacksonville Suns!
Thank you Tom Bush Mini for all you do to enhance the Mini experience.
Your support of Sunshine Minis and the Jacksonville Area Mini Motoring club is much appreciated!

I also added a storage tray under the center stack, I was lazy and didn't take out the center rail so it was like giving birth trying to push that thing into place lol.
And if that wasn't enough MINI love we gave Mini a bath.

To reward ourselves for all the hard work we all went for a drive to the coast today.
Great weekend with husband and mini

My gallery has pictures of all these projects and before/after of the lights.
I think it looks great, although I realize that you didn't ask for anyone's opinion.
All that matters is what makes you happy.
I'm glad that we don't all have the same taste or our cars would all look the same.
How boring that would be.

I want to replace my tail lights and get rid on the amber lens.
Well done!

I installed strut tower plates from Madness and a new serpentine belt. Neither job was easy. Mushroomed tops made installing the bearings back into the tower a real pain. The auto tranny makes the clearance a problem when doing the belt. All good now good for another 60k miles.

Yeah I missed that one. I went home to get some stuff ready for when I go to Cali. Are you coming out next weekend for our meet?

After being woken up for work issues I couldn't sleep so I washed and vacuumed the car at 4AM Sunday. Then later on went out for a nice drive and day at the park. It was 30+ Degrees Celcius out so we were very happy.

While waiting for my spouse to get ready I took a few pics to pass the time. Also finally recorded by exhaust sound after so many months of ownership.

I would love to, but I don't think that I can make it back to Jax next week.
We'll see...

Installed red/carbon fibre stubby and the secondary PCV loop boost tap/PCV delete unit. If you have a catch can, you must block the secondary PCV loop or the catch can will be 50% effective at best. Put mine on on Saturday. I see some oil collected in the can already, even without the PCV delete it was doing its job. This should make it noticably more effective. Got mine from OutMotoring, they seem to be the cheapest at $49.95, seen 'em up to $79. You gotta be kidding.

That's a SERIOUSLY hot MINI ! Ever considered putting the JCW side skirts on it or having yours painted CR ? Would be even hotter.

I thought about having the skirts color matched but I would want to color match my fenders as well. I'm really not a fan of the JCW bumper so I'm not sure how it would flow.

I watched a man take a saw to my Mini :(

With reasonable results.

Did the resonator delete. Not a replacement for aftermarket. But it gave me the slightly louder tone I was looking for without being too loud. Not really expecting much if any performance gains as its not really a restrictive piece.

The other day I tinted my tail lights using a matte vinyl overlay. The results weren't perfect. But it was more just to see if I would like it at all and be easily reversible.

I do like the look of the Matte when the lights are off. But it makes the ring lights less defined. I don't know that I like that. I will take pictures when it gets darker and post the lights.

I had one ball amputated as well and love it it's exactly what I was hoping for... a little more popping and a slightly better sound without sounding like it's an aftermarket exhaust. Can't beat it for the price.
