Thanks! I had taken a chance on the Gotham Grey Interior as I had no live models to go by, but found that it matches the standard headliner very well, and really opens up the cabin! If I had gotten the standard interior color, I would have definitely gotten the anthracite headliner for the extra $250.

goatdog should be getting the call soon, too! Still haven't seen but one lone Clubman on the road since I ordered mine (4/19).

Outstanding! My MA is off on Tuesdays, so I'm hoping to hear from him tomorrow (if not, he's getting a call from me...). I'm seeing MINIs everywhere here in northern CA!

I stuck with the std headliner as well and hope it goes well with my blue colorline, also expecting it to keep the interior more open. If not, well, I can live with that

And they're coming soon, I promise! The first S Clubman I drove was a Hot Chocolate with almost all the packages I wanted, but I couldn't take the car so soon, what with my lease and all. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new clubbie as soon as it comes in.

It might take an extra day to get to you from NJ, so most likely it will be on your dealers' doorstep tomorrow. You'll be motoring soon! Oh yeah, post pics!

Thanks! When I go over tomorrow noon to sign some more paperwork, I'll bring a camera to take pics and also bring along my Kuda mount and hardwire. I can it install it myself no problem, but if I can get them to install it for me, why not go for it?

It's awesome to hear people are starting to get their cars. I am calling my MA tomorrow for an update. I almost went with the grey too. My budget was tight and the Anthracite did not make it. Like you I never saw a grey one in person. Hope I that does not end up being a regret. Aww, who am I kidding , I'll be so freaking happy to get the car I won't care at all.

I hear ya... In fact, when this all started (in early April) I went to my dealership and they had a loaded HC/S Clubman S. I test drove it and loved it. My wife wasn't fond of the HC/S combo so she kinda gave me that "honey, you need to rethink this" look. Over the next few weeks I started to get my finances in order and changed my order, but it was so hard not to pull the trigger on that HC/S Clubman.

Which leads me a thought - I feel for everyone who comes out here and tells us that they ordered their car and it won't be available until, I don't know, October, November.... That would kill me. Absolutely kill me. I don't know how they do it. I'd go nuts. I am now and I'm waiting six, maybe seven, weeks.

I feel the same way, i remember when i just put the order in, i said it's only 6 to 8 weeks no big deal...was i wrong i must of checked 50 times of day to see where elektra was. i must of googled, AIS Live 100 times, vessel tracking 500 times, cargo vessel arrivals 1000 times, cam view of ports 1000 times, and checked WW, mini USA 50 times a day and so on...the funny thing is that it came up with the same websites results every time (vesseltrax and AIS LIVE.

Same here. What's six weeks right. Ha, it's fooorrevvverr. I am so glad I ordered when I did as i got the dealers last production slot for that week. ONe more day and I would have had to wait even longer, ugh. Then I wouldn't be in awesome week 21!

hfs3 - Congrats!!! Can't wait to see photos!

I'm on week 10 or 11 right now, I have no idea. I can't believe it took that long, I read about alot of others, ordering and going into production right away, My order waited about one month and a half before even going into production....

And jessy I was one of the lucky ones who placed an order on Saturday and they started building it on Tuesday. Don't hate me.... It had to work that way for me. I was torn between a Clubman S and an A3. I called my MA and he said he had one slot open for a 5 or 6 week turnaround. I told him to put my name down and I'd see him on Saturday. I couldn't wait 2+ months for a car. I'd be instituationalized before it gets delievered!

**adjusting my white jacket**

Hey, I saw the name you are giving to your Clubbie, and was wondering how you came across it? It's COOL!! Is there a direct correlation that I'm missing?

+1 about not being able to wait 2+ months for a MINI! Would need serious amounts of therapy after waiting 2+ months. Still trying to figure out a name for our MCS...

Pics.... can't wait to take too many pics of it!

Just called my salesperson, she told me that it will take 7 to 10 days to have my car from Brunswick GA VDC...that sucks. I thought it was going to arrive before father's day.

not only that, i was planning to go to 2008 MTTS in Miami this weekend.

oh well...there goes my plans for this weekend.

THEY SAY THAT ROME WASN'T BUILT IN ONE DAY......BUT IT SURE WOULD HELP TO HAVE AN ARMY EXPEDITING THE PROCESS.

EDIT; one more thing. Does anyone here have a relative that works for VDC distribution? it would be great to get a inside information on where my car is, willing to pay for info!!!

DOES THAT SOUND DESPERATE ENOUGH?
