I love WICKED!!! I've read the book and seen the musical twice! Awesome name!!! I've been thinking of a few different names, but Glinda was actually one on my list!! haha.

Last night I told my wife that I was thinking about getting a vanity plate to my car "elphie1." She laughed and asked me to poll NAM to see what they thought. So does that sound dorky or would you do it???


Then later on last night, she tells me that she may get us tickets to go to Chicago to see Wicked there. She said that its a permanent show there. Then said that we may go to Atlanta in October to see the touring company. The girl that plays Elphaba (Carmen Cusack) is utterly amazing - she was Elphaba in Chicago and decided to go on the road. As you can tell I really enjoyed/loved the show. I actually have the soundtrack and listen to it occassionally (ala a lot!)... Yeah I am a dork!!!

 

The hidden costs aren't really hidden. Your MA should've asked you if you wanted the paint protection extended service, warranty etc when you placed your order. It shouldn't be a problem when you sign. Just go over the final papers carefully. When I bought my Nissan back in 2001, the dealer did this and I told them that I didn't want their service plan.The redidi the papers and all was good.


Neurosis isn't getting any better though...

 

Hmmm... " paint protection extended service, warranty" that stuff was never discussed. I'll just review the paperwork, next Saturday, I hope...

 

Just talked to my MA, and LadyG is running ahead of schedule. She'll be in Charlotte by Wednesday, they'll do all the scheduled work, and I'll be getting her on Saturday the 21st!

I dont think its dorky, I'd love a vanity plate, but they don't allow you to have them in Quebec :( So maybe the desire of having a vanity plate is stronger here because we aren't allowed, but I would definitely pay for one, if they ever did become available here.

I was lucky enough to see Idina perform, and I loved her, I think she was absolutely wonderful. And I listen to the music all the time! haha, so I would guess I'm a dork too then.

 

So your car dealers are open on the weekend?

Mine's supposed to arrive at the dealer today, but they have some work to do, I'll have to wait until Monday, no car dealers open on the weekends out here.

Wow, this place has been busy. Congrats to all! My car is due at the dealer Monday and since I am not having anything done I should be driving it by Wednesday with pictures to follow soon after.

Went by the credit union today to set up and close my loan.
My car is supposed to be trucked in tomorrow on Saturday and I am hoping to pick him/her (not sure till I drive it) on Monday or Tuesday.

Just posted in week 22 today, but since I *thought* I was closer to week 21 I'll post here too....

Why doesn't my MA know when mine will be in? She won't know 'til it hits their dealership? Seems like you guys are doing a lot better than me. Can you find out what they're referring to? Mine is looking at the "daily printouts". Maybe your MA knows something mine doesn't?

Anyhow, here's my post:

Talked to my MA today and she told me my ship wasn't scheduled to come in until June 18th! She told me the 12th a while back, and I didn't know that there was a delay until today.

I just checked the "ships" pdf file, and there aren't any ships scheduled for the 18th. And I went back to WW and it isn't tracking my VIN, so that means I'm still a K-line, and there aren't any coming in around the 18th (17th and 19th, but not the 18th).

So my guess is she's just wrong. Unless she's confusing the 18th for the day it leaves Charleston. Could it be sitting in port that long?

Any other theories?

I'd ask to speak to the sales manager~ that is NOT right. As soon as the car leaves port, it becomes part of the dealer inventory and they have all of the information.

I'd get confirmation on what ship you were on, and then go from there. You had to have been on the Carib Hwy!!!!

 

OK there's the Patriot due in to Baltimore on the 18th. But that is a WW ship, so you would be able to track that by now.

I think your MA is on crack.
