The MA was "a matter-a-fact" when he said "well you have things being put on so maybe next week".

My MA emailed this morning... Looks like we're going to schedule a Friday pickup! Woo hoo! Almost exactly two months to the day from the time of order

 

WOO HOOO!!! CONGRATS!!! That's a celebration right there!

I know!!! They don't seem to have meant anything!!!

I was going to tell him to, "hey, I know someone in Ontario, and there's arrived on Friday, so where the heck is mine?"

At least I know she's here now, I'm not going crazy.... (btw, still haven't heard from him today either..... he had seemed like such a great guy...I'm starting to lose faith)

 

Congrats to everyone who either has or is within striking distance of their MINI's. I'm happy b/c I got off the phone with the business mgr at my dealer, who very decently worked to pull the Tires for Life thing I didn't want. So, cheers for MINI of Towson- they've been good so far...

Just got off the phone with my MA. The car will be ready by 5pm today. I should be at the dealer by 6pm tonight!:g rin:

Week 23 guy here, quick question.... how did you know, if you did, that your car was at the dealership?

I would love to go see my car even before prep is done.

Your MA should call and tell you -- or as people have been experiencing you will find it out on your own by your own investigation... If you go see before your MA calls you make sure to take pics and post them! I don't think I can do that because my dealer stores most the cars on the secured roof area so people can't damage them when looking on the lot. (We got a little tour of the dealership last time we went in).

 

My MA is totally awesome and called me when she came in. I've been calling him several times during this 2 month process, and we've got a good relationship going. He promised to call me and he did!

What to you think of the name? I figured it was a fitting, since it arrived at the Mini dealer on Friday the 13th.

Took these pictures tonight just before I was given the walk thru of all the *****, buttons, switches and other doo-dads (and there are way more than I remember). Based on the weather we've been having here in Southern Ontario, Templar may never look this clean again. On the bright-side, I'll get to test out those rain sensing wipers tomorrow morning.

I had been emailing my MA periodically just to keep myself in his mind. I let him know I was excited which ended up being a good thing. They go 15 cars in on Monday and since he knew me and how excited I was he made sure mine was the first car prepped. When I knew it was getting close I also let him know what day was best for me to come and get it. It all worked a out great beacuse I am driving Mandrake now.

 

Well the drive home was one the more satisfying drives I have ever had in car. I only broke the break rules once! It is so much freaking fun to drive

I actually wanted to drive to work today. So now begins a month of me giving rides to everyone I know.

I hope to have some pictures up tonight.

I have word from the Sales Manager that my Clubbie was released for transport yesterday afternoon from the VDC. He expects to receive it this afternoon or "soon"....just an update; no committed delivery yet.
