OK y'all are not gonna believe this...
I just finished work, and there was a message on my cell from my MA.
LadyG arrived *TODAY* at the dealer!!!!!!!
They still need a few days to get everything put on....but now I want to take a day off next week and get her early!
This is insanity!

I'd ask to speak to the sales manager~ that is NOT right. As soon as the car leaves port, it becomes part of the dealer inventory and they have all of the information.
I'd get confirmation on what ship you were on, and then go from there. You had to have been on the Carib Hwy!!!!

Just posted in week 22 today, but since I *thought* I was closer to week 21 I'll post here too....
Why doesn't my MA know when mine will be in? She won't know 'til it hits their dealership? Seems like you guys are doing a lot better than me. Can you find out what they're referring to? Mine is looking at the "daily printouts". Maybe your MA knows something mine doesn't?
Anyhow, here's my post:
Talked to my MA today and she told me my ship wasn't scheduled to come in until June 18th! She told me the 12th a while back, and I didn't know that there was a delay until today.
I just checked the "ships" pdf file, and there aren't any ships scheduled for the 18th. And I went back to WW and it isn't tracking my VIN, so that means I'm still a K-line, and there aren't any coming in around the 18th (17th and 19th, but not the 18th).
So my guess is she's just wrong. Unless she's confusing the 18th for the day it leaves Charleston. Could it be sitting in port that long?
Any other theories?

Who' your dealer. I think they are off a little. BMW and MINI dealers have access to a site called delerspeed.com where they can get info. I think she is just guessing. The other possibility is something I saw on the K-Line site about disrupted rail traffic in the midwest because of flooding pushing things back as well. I hope this is not the case for you. It will be nice to have a fellow Week 21 motorer ( is that a word?!?) in Chicagoland.

First off, congrats to EVERYONE who has received the call that there car has come in (especially LadyG....now there's excitement! ) Awesome news all 'round!
I got the call yesterday...Thursday it was "on rail" and Friday it was in the dealer's lot. Went and took a look this morning, and in all my excitement, I forgot the camera. I think you'll agree, it's first public appearance shouldn't be a low quality cell phone pic.
Tuesday is pick-up day...only 3 more sleeps!!!

Zim is delivered!
After all my waiting, the day finally arrived! Zim was detailed and put into my hands to drive away. The tint was done, the mud flaps were installed, and I was motoring off home on a sunny Saturday morning. My wife Marnie was following, and took one of me from her car as we were nearing town...
I still have to take pics of the interior (leatherette, gotham grey), but that will be for another day.
