Just got the phone with ASK MINI. I am in week 21. It's scheduled to hit production between the 18-24th of this month. Anyone else in this group?

We are! We are!! Yeah!! I am so excited to find others in the same week!!!
We ordered Saturday and our production day is suppose to be May 21st, so I counted it up and it looks like we are also week 21!!!

What date did they give you guys?? They told us the end of June!

My MA said 6 to 8 weeks. MINI did not give the actual production date yet.

When you call the ASK MINI number do you speak to a person or it is automated??

 

Both. I first went through the automated thing but I did not tell me much. It gave me an option to talk with a rep and that is where I got the week 21 from.

 

I called Ask MINI on Monday and was told my S Clubman was going to be built in the week ending 5/25, which is week 21 (5/19 - 5/25). Patience is not a virtue, it's the last resort of those waiting for their MINI.

Mine has a schedule completion date of 5-19-08. Does this put me in Week #21?

 

Absolutely. Week 21 (European) is 5/19-5/25. Hop on board with the rest of us!

The interesting thing will be to see when our MINIs get delivered. My dealership is New Country Mini of Hartford, and most shipments take 2-4 weeks (from what I've read here). Hoping it's on the early side of that so I'm not having to rent a car for too long - my leased Saab 9-5 wagon goes back on 6/9.

 

This process so far has been really swift for me.

Schedule completion on 5/19/08

Maybe we hit the jackpot with a slow week so they can take extra care and we'll get the cars early!

Ok, probably not. I still have not got a firm production date yet, but my MA says it will happen next week.

 

Spoke with my MA today and he confirmed the boat ride is typically 2 weeks, so it looks like a mid-June delivery for me. Woo hoo!

I just saw my VIN appear on the tracking site today, so I called ASK MINI as well. Mine started production on Wednesday (5/14), but he didn't know when it would be done.

Looking forward to it!

We may have a few folks in our group for week 21 that have gotten confused.....you guys may be shipping by now or sooner than our group.

I believe that week 21 starts on the 18th...some of us are just now getting our VIN's. My Clubman is scheduled to be completed on the 22nd.

 

I almost wrote the exact post as yours! Our Mini's must be rolling down the line together!! I just called ASK MINI and they said that our car is in production and will be completed on May 21st also!! I came to here to post it and read your post!! Getting excited
