Hey guys how much credence did you put in the Owner's Longue when you car was at the VDC? Did the status change with some accuracy?

The OL wasn't accurate until our MINI actually arrived.... First it said estimated delivery, 6/15, then 6/19 and finally settled on 6/18 after we took delivery on the 20th

 

After Lady G was on the boat, I never even checked the OL again. In fact, I rarely even signed in there, since everyone was saying it was always behind. I just called ASK MINI several times in the production phase, then when she got on the ship I called my MA.

 

Thanks guys.... I feel like I need to be cautious with my MA. The drugs aren't that strong and I don't want to put my foot in my mouth.

I just got a response from the MA, and he said - Elphie is still at the port. That he'll update me. That there are 20 MINIs he's sold that are there and that I'm not the only one.

What are the specifics for the break in period? Mileage, "rules", etc?

2000km (1200 Miles) engine break in

Do not maintain over 4500rpm
Remain under 160km/Hr (85 MPH)
After the break in "gradually increase speeds"

I think the clutch, tires and breaks are 300-500km until they are at the "optimal level" I'm sure you have hit that already.
