I think the clutch, tires and breaks are 300-500km until they are at the "optimal level" I'm sure you have hit that already.
Ditto. It is listed in the manual as well.

Thanks everyone! My MA said there was no break in needed, other than to "keep it under 100 MPH"

Didn't think to look in the Owners Manual. DUH. I'll check it out.

Thanks again!

Weird, my dealer told me about the 4500rpm, and the 160km/hr.... afterwards I saw it in the owner's manual while looking up how to turn the bluetooth incoming call ring down, it makes me jump everytime!!! Still haven't had the chance to find that out however....

Random stuff

I got a black fleece blanket from my dealer in the mail today with the Mini logo on it. I am still hoping to get an adventure kit that I see some others have gotten in other threads.

I have been experimenting with the sport button the last few days. It really makes a difference in the steering. The throttle response is better as well.

This is Shelby. She does not like having her picture taken because she thinks it will steal her soul.

Hey guys and gals -- I am LOVING the pics of the dogs! I have 4 cocker spaniels, Emma (mom), Jackson (dad), Benny (son) and Gracie (daughter). We weren't planning on puppies, but it kind of happened... I rescue dogs/any animal ALL the time. So I appreciate all of you who adopt them!

I will have to post pics of all 4 in the back of the clubman... once I get it!

Do you guys have any feedback on the back seat liner? I want to buy one but with cocker spaniels they shed a lot and the dog hair in the black carpet really sucks... what have you been experiencing? Are they easy to install and take out??

No pics yet, but I picked up my BRG Clubman this afternoon.

Seems like I got my order in at the right time. The Mini sales manager said:

1) They have no inventory to sell, just one of each type they have to keep for demo-ing.
2) They have a TWELVE WEEK WAIT for orders now.
3) They're buying Mini's that are a couple years old for a couple thousand under their original sale price, and selling them for more than their original sticker price. Yowza!!!

Best wishes to those still waiting, and if I don't check in for a while, it's probably because I have a lot of owners manual to get through yet

Ordered my MCSC Sidewalk edition on April 18. Tentative delivery on July 12. 12 weeks and one day. And I'm not having anyting installed at the VDC or dealer.

Sucks to have to have the car come through the west coast and then bring it back east to Denver (adds 2 weeks). Hope the ship arrives today or tomorrow.

I can't wait either!! Thanks though, I will definitly post pics after I take delivery.

Still deciding on the Aero bumper, but for the most part the car body will be finished when I leave the dealer (unless I do the bumper myself).

I'm excited to see what engine mods start coming out... (I was up to Dinan Stage 5 on my MCS)

my mod list is growing. Not sure the boss is going to let me do everything I want but I'm going to push to get some of it done.

Stage 5. That's serious stuff. What year was your MCS?

Aren't there mods out there for the 2nd generation engine? Is there any difference between a Clubman S and a MCS (both '08s)?

According to my MA and Service Guy Dinan does not work on the Clubman and there isnt anything out there that is dealer approved and installed to keep from voiding the warranty... Stage 5 made a HUGE difference in HP on my MCS! It went from fast to holly s**t that's fast! My MCS was an 04 or 05 I can't remember.... I think an 04...

I will DEFINITLY be doing whatever they decide to do whether it's Dinan or something else... It makes such a big difference! (Plus my hubby is a car freak so he doesnt mind me doing the same, he actually encourages it!)

Can I get you to do a vulcan mind meld with my wife so she will be happy when i mod my clubman?

In '05 they did do a few changes but the first gen engine changed in '07 (I think).
