Any luck on finding out about that Shark fin antenna?

 

No... Everyone is telling me that I need to go with something else. I think I'm gonna get an Alta Stubby Antenna.

 

It's getting depressing because it hasn't stopped raining. Everyday the storms keep popping up everyday. Elphie is a mess and my yard is a mess. And what's worse is my pool is a mess and with the rain I can't clean it. It looks like lake apopka. (i don't know what to do - laugh or cry!)

 

I vacationed in that rain :P stupid Fay. haha.

At least it was nice and hot for the beginning and the end of my vacay.

Glad to see the thread is still going...haven't been here for a while.... but lot's has happened!! lol I got my MINI welcome pack in the mail, it has a driving cd of music (i still have to listen) an "Excuse o Matic" spin wheel for when you get caught speeding by the cops, and key rack to put on my wall, a nice keychain and a trivia card game. It was really cute! I was so excited, I really wasn't expecting it....

Then.... 2 days before my vacation, and on a Friday when service closes at 3pm, I back out of my driveway and whack my mirror on our garbage can and the whole support cracked in two. The garbage can weighed a ton and didn't even move (my parents laid new sod for our whole lawn, and it was the first cut after like 3 weeks of watering, a can full of soil and grass doesn't budge...BELIEVE me) I was sooooooooo upset. I called all the dealers in the Montreal area to see if someone had it in stock and could replace it that day. Thankfully one was able to, and it cost me 300$ such a stupid thing.....

And then I went to Orlando (Disney) for a week and a half vacation, (to get away from the rain here, and got FAY) but all is well, my boyfriend proposed after the rain left (delayed his plans) and I got ENGAGED!

Sooo happy, and I still loooooooooooooooove my MINI!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! I loved Chicago when I visited, and I really hope my hood scoop doesn't end up melting, since it was custom painted

No mods for me either, but I really am contemplating the mudflaps if that counts, because it does really get messy in the rain puddles

I got mine Saturday and Joep got his yesterday!! Fun stuff!!

 

Got my welcome package this past Saturday. It's pretty cool, but mostly silly stuff.

Before the trip on Monday to Lime Rock Park, I installed a Forge blow-off diverter. Very cool sounding! Keeping my eye on the DDM race intake system, which is likely my next mod. To be safe, I clear everything with my SA so my warranty is ok. They are very cool about that kind of thing, which is a relief.

It is just an adapter that goes inbetween the solenoid and the block that releases compressed air from the turbo when the rpms drop between gear shifts. Basically, it provides a pffffft! sound...

 

I just make the sound whenever I shift.. Saved some cash...

Finally got out adventure kit! Now our Mini has an 8 ball on its antenna

Reyd, good to hear that you got the adventure kit. How you doing on your side of town? I think we're planning to be over there for dinner at crackerbarrel tomorrow night (wow I sound old and lame saying that ). But we've been trying to eat healthy and I let myself have one bad meal a week.

Yep, I did. I didn't really join for the benefits, though. I joined because I practically live on this site (it's my escape when work is making me insane...) and wanted to help support it.

The Alliance magazine is pretty cool, though!
