Week 21 Support group
Nope, all I know is that she's due in Charleston on Thursday. 
I'm joining a Motoring club here, and I'm hoping I will have her by the 21st, as that is the next meeting. They are all meeting at Hendrick that day--wouldn't that be awesome if they were all there when I took delivery?

Let me apologize first but I guess I'm sappy this morning. Not enough coffee. too much time on my hands? I don't know but ...
I just want to say to those of you in Week 21 Support Group - you guys are amazing. We have no idea who we are, we could pass each other in the mall and we wouldn't blink an eye, but because of our cars we are really helping and supporting each other out. That's pretty damn cool. I know this is a support group (at least that's the title of the thread) but the reality is we really are support each other. We don't have to. We could be sponges and get info and head out to other threads but we're not.
I know I'm being sappy but thanks. Maybe I'm crumbling under the pressure of not having my Clubman. ha ha ha. I may want to see my therapist soon.
Well, I better shut up now and go mow my yard.

I stayed real busy this weekend. I wanted to distract myself - so I wouldn't think about my car - it didn't work. I detailed my element so it'll be ready when I trade it in.
As for MTTS - I'd love to go to the Miami stop but I will be leaving for Charlotte next Saturday for my son's high school graduation. His ceremony is actually on Sunday the 15th - Father's Day. I'm so stoked to see him graduate.

There will be lots of other Motoring events! Watching your son graduate sounds like a great way to spend Father's Day!

Great info. Thanks. I could barely go online and look this weekend because I was so bummed that the date got moved back to the 9th. I think that is going to kill my chance for getting it this weekend.

Funny what you said about the pictures.......I was just telling my husband "Hey I heard there is a gigantic crab (it can fit 65 people in it) in Ohio we should take the MINI to have a picture with it".....
By the way it is not a real crab.....just a large crab building. Wanted to state that before someone was wondering why 65 people were even trying to fit into a crab.
You don't have to make your wife a car widow......bring her along!!!

For detailing hints, I went to Show Car Detailing's site and looked at some of his hints and using Prima products. I've started getting all of the microfiber and purchasing new detailing products too.
Has anyone decided what their first mod to their MINI will be? Ours will be tint, stubby antenna, then eventually wheels.....

Thanks for the info... I guess I need to start getting the good stuff to detail my car!
First mod? I'm going to start off with tinting. We live in Florida and that's a necessity. I have a guy who I'm gonna see if he can go to the dealership and get it done before delivery. After that, I don't know...
Can the small antenna that BMW has work with the MINI?

which wouldn't really count as a mod since the dealer does offer this option, but mine will be painted pepperwhite on the roof rather than the plain white sticker. So in this case, I would think it falls in the category of a mod

It seems as though it was late......showed a start time of 8, but the ship did not arrive until 10.....
