I can try to find one. I have camber plates in the front and have trimmed the metal of the fenders under the fender flare in the rear.

You wont tuck a 17x8.5 +20 without camber in the front. I can try to get some but you cant really tell how my camber sits.

Specs are : -4*F -5*R

anyone running a lowered r53 (1.5 inch) with 16x8 wheel and 225 50 16 tire?? or not possible. i just looked through all 31 pages and im trying to find the look i want. thiers a few but i would like a fat tire to help the ride a bit. i like the wide rims too. right now i have 17x7 stock bbs wheels with 215x45x17 tire and its not the look i want. i dont like stretch. i like seeing the tire ouside the car. can anyone tell me if 16x8 rota grid wheels fit with 225 50 16 tire? if not what about 215 50 16 tire?

Yes it would fit . I'm running 16x9 with 215/40 with a decent amount of stretch . 16x8 would have no stretch , 215 would be a little round, 205 would have a moderate stretch depending on the tire .

20 offset is pretty aggressive. You're Going to be seeing a Bit of poking. I'm using the same wheel specs and my tire is 215 40 16. And I gets plenty of rubbing. I am lower than 1.5 though too. Your setup will fit but you will most likely rub on some of the bigger bumps too. It's really not that bad. The plastic fenders will wear away and that's no big deal at all

No you will most likely see some rubbing on either tire setup depending on how low you go. It's not a big deal though. You'll just wear out some of the plastic on the fenders

No you will rub on either tire setup. And the amount of rubbing should be minimal on a 1.5 drop. However it's unavoidable with a 20et. So go ahead and put those babies on

Use this calculator to get an idea of where the wheel will sit

The body under the flares have been cut and clearanced.

Im liking the set-up, actually bought this set in flat black a few days ago. Did you find any rubbing with the stock suspension, or did the new fender flares get rid of that problem?

What are the suspension specs on the MINI on the BLQ's?

After reading every page (my eyes hurt) I'm finally coming up with a "proper" combination.

I'm looking at some 17x8 +25 wheels, looks like a 205/40 or 215/40 is the best tire size. With coils and enough camber (achieved with front plates and rear LCAs) I should be able to have minimal, if any, rub with little to no trimming. Does this sound right? This is going on an R56 by the way.

If all else fails I'll have the hubs milled down (tolerance allowing) to get the offset somewhere in the 30-35mm range.

you'll have plenty of clearance with +25 and enough camber to clear in the rear with stock lca .

Even if I run the larger 215/40 tires on them? I'm trying to eliminate the need to roll/pull/cut anything and not rub while getting flush/slight poke.

The flares on our cars are thin and cheap (so if you cut them and then, for some reason, want to put a non-trimmed one on, it won't cost much at all), you can trim the inner horizontal section easily in just a few minutes with just a box cutter to gain an extra 1/4" or so of clearance, it's not noticeable from outside the car unless you peak your head underneath. It's so much easier than other cars that need fenders rolled and what not, it's great.

That'd be great if all I may have to trim was the plastic. I've rolled, pulled, and cut enough fenders over the years. Hopefully I won't have any metal rubbing.
