Roll call - 8"+ wide wheels
MINIng,
That's a lot what my tires looked like too before I rolled my fenders. (the metal part of the fenders at least. Basically, jack the car up, take the wheels off, and pound the metal towards the sky like there's no tomorrow. If it rubbed enough, it will have bent the metal so it is laying flat against itself. There is a little metal ledge (hard to explain without pictures) and it might be laying flat. You need to get something flat and get it under this metal, and once it parts a little, you can pound of flat again. Really hard to explain without pictures, but I can show you pictures of my fenders and how they look "rolled" so it can give you a better idea.

I had these wheels on my mini 18/8 w a 1.5in drop all around but I sold them and but the car back to stock suspension , I couldn't figure out the problem with the vibrating coming from the axle on the passenger side , car drives so much better now but doesn't look as nice.
Sooo, after going through the first 22 pages, i decided i can't go through the rest here at work... Feedback will be my best option.
I'm going to be picking up my rims today (xxr531 16 x 8 +20) and am torn on what tire i should go with. I initially priced it out using a 195/50 Falken 912. Being that I'm sitting on stock struts with the Eibach Sport Springs, will this be too much?

^^laforze - the color/look of those go very nicely on your car
..I like the lip and how concave the spokes are.
..those XXRs are a pretty good deal for not taking a big bite out of the wallet, I would get'em...only thing is deal breaker for me is the dual lug patterns.
Any rubbing in back...yet?
This is one of my favorite threads....I'll finally be able to post some pics here...very soon

I'm thinking about getting this set of 17 x 8.5 with +13 offset....i'll be running 205/45/17" and would need to get a 4 lug to 5 lug converter/spacer, prob about 40mm thick..
i was wondering if it's gonna stick out too much, and if i lower the car with coilovers, if it's gonna rub. I would like to get the tires tuck in the wheel well if possible...

8.5 et13 will poke quite a lot, about 1"
40mm is a ridiculously thick spacer. 18-25mm is normal
I assume et13 is accounting for the spacer? so the wheels are actually et53? If so use a smaller adapter and look to net an offset near 30

no...i'm actually looking this set of MK wheels for the bimmer, so it's got et13 already, and since i need to use a lug converter, so the spacer is gonna be another 40mm.....so i guess those MK wheels are no go...
Yea 8.5 et-27 is not gonna work. Wouldn't really make sense on any car.
