Anyone have any photos of this size wheel? I tried willtheyfit.com and it says it will stick out about .85 inches and be .6 inches closer to the strut. (11 r56s on stock suspension)
I have a set of TR C4's with 45 offset on a R53 with stock springs and 214/45-17" RE-71-R's for tires and no rubbing. In the picture the rears have not been changed yet.

It is a too lower offset, surely you need a camber adjustment and some roll to avoid rubbinf on a bumpy zone
if this is directed towards me, no I have not had any rub but I'm on very stiff springs. I have -2 degrees camber up front and probably the same out back never measured it

15x8, 11.6 pounds.

I think I'll have to do some messing around to get them to fit without rubbing but I can't wait.

I have 2 sets of these, 5mm in rear if I run 205/55/15 and 10mm both ends if I run 225/45/15. I might be able to get away with less spacer with 225 but I have not measured

The 15 inch will not lower the car itself as the goal is to maintain circumference and diameter so that the speedometer and tachometer are accurate. If you decrease the circumference and diameter you will lower the car to the ground but will increase wheel gap - the distance between the top of the tire and the wheel arch. You also effect the speedo and tach as a smaller tire rotates greater per mile or more often. Then you would need lowering springs to lower the wheel arch to the top of the tire. Or you could invest in coil overs that would accomplish the same. A smaller diameter is great for acceleration too as it turns faster due to the smaller circumference. You could lower your car by using the stock size tire - 204/40/17. This will slightly increase wheel gap but it will be at OEM measurements. The 15 inch tire has a greater side wall which will flex more in corners as well. It rides much smoother though than the 17's. I hope that this helps you.

ABSOLUTELY, my car is on EiBach lowering springs and at this point I may have about less than half inch gap from arch to top of my tires, coilovers at this point will be no help but my thought was if I go 15's with coilovers then I may achieve the stance just did not know how it may feel with 15's.I drove a friends r53 with coils and works 17x7.5 and the car is very low and felt great but looks like the 56 is built in a way that the rear end is much higher.

R56. I still haven't bought tires or spacers. Can't decide between 205 or 225, and 5mm spacers or 10mm. I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about everything, and to make everything fit with minimal rubbing. The tire diameter will be about 1.25" smaller than stock but the car will also be on coilovers.

I think 205's are the way to go on 8" little Strach but will look good. I have 205x45x17 in the front now.

OK guys please help me archive what is in my mind. I just don't like the way my wheels fill the wheelwell.
What I have in mind is to get as close to struts and fill in all the way to the edge of arch, I have some xxr 17x8.25 et22 running 215x45x17'shoes in the back and 205x45x17 front. But it's just not right nor it came out the way I like them.yes they poke a little but look narrow because of the tire size, like to go as wide as tires I can get, my Megan euros came in today so I need help with correct wheels and et.with coilovers maybe a little negative camber for no rubbing.sorry for bad pics.
Thx
Ben

I saw your post before what is your car currently lowered on? Don't hold me to 100% of the specs but I think the extreme wheel setup that I measured. With out rubbing or trimming. But I don't think you'll find anything off the shelf with those offsets.

Well I am now on EiBach lowering springs right now and will be going on Megan euro II's next week the wheels on my R56 are 17x8.25 et22 and are semi concave they poke out about 29mm from my arch but have managed to keep them from hitting the arch with tire stretching
It occasionally hits the arch in a strong dip.
If I can calculate correctly rim size 8 et40 should take me 15mm closer to struts and retracts by 21mm from the curent 29mm living only 1mm from inside the arch allowing me to lower the car with coilover.
Ben

im looking into buying some wheels very soon and i cant find anything about a 2002 base model mini cooper fitment. Im looking on putting 17x8.25 on all fours and idk if theyll rub or scrape. I do have a fender roller and i plan on putting a 1.25" drop on it as well. Any help?

Offset 40 or more should be OK for wheels 17*8.25 (stock).
Additionally you could roll the fender if necessary.
You must install the rim on your car BEFORE buying it and check internal clearance too
