I have a 2005 MCS in Production. I am getting the multi-function steering wheel, and wanted a S-sport 2 spoke wheel, not the three spoke wheel. Can we still get the 2-spoke steering wheel?

 

Is that letherette or leather?

 

No, it's discontinued. 3 Spoke is ugly but oh well...

Anyone hear any news on the Emden?

 

I'm almost (almost!) as excited about your car as I am about mine... Watching for your car has become a surrogate since its a similar spec...... and I'll be able to get a first hand view and opinion of purple haze!!!

I will be in Anchorage for work... but believe me, I'm searching for a high speed internet hookup to see if you posted any photos!!

 

EMDEN ARRIVED according to K Line at 20:50 7/31 unloaded, loaded and went right out after midnight 8/1.

Spoke to my MA will definately drive the car by the 9th, hoping for this weekend.

 

Hopefully ASK MINI will have some additional information on the car by this afternoon. Maybe even an estimated delivery date to the dealer.

Hi - new poster here. I also ordered MCS/05 from Baron's back in March. The SM is a *#ck - tried to tell me my car was still 'on the water' when I knew it had docked (Patriot in SC). His story was, what I was looking at (he thought MINI OL) was not in real time - I finally shut him up by saying it so happens the Coast Guard is. Anyway - My EDD is 8/3 and haven't heard any more.

 

WOOOOHOOOO!

 

Yahoo!!!!! I just checked the OL and to my surprise, my status has changed to "awaiting transport" :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: .... so, does that mean, I'm on my way to a ship? for all those that are in the know, how do I check which ship it gets on? I can't wait.....

Got the call from my MA today to get my programming options. He said that there was only 10-15 days till its there. She should yell out "land ho" around the 8th. Now thats a call that I like to get!

Well, I'm back to civilization after two weeks of vacation. Lots happening here! Looks like many of you will be motoring soon - you lucky things, you!

All I know is our baby left Southampton 7/25 and will arrive Oxnard 8/18. How do you find out what ship you're on??? AskMini didn't know and neither does our MA - only the expected arrival date. Would love to track through the canal. Anyway, if all goes well we should take delivery by the first of September.

With your VIN # from the OL site, go to http://213.31.205.37/GLWebApps.AppTracking and "track cargo by auto." Make sure you don't leave a space at the end of the #'s if you copy/pasted.

Thanks, danbanger. That's where I have been checking and there has never been any record of my VIN (cargo ID #). I've also looked at WW's schedule and can't find a ship that matches the dates I was told by Mini. Must be on another carrier but I don't know which one or how to locate it .

Any other ideas?

 

Looks like the Freedom will land tommorow and unload my little mini.

 

anybody on the Patriot? looks like "casper" is on that ship and is looking for some shipmates..... yahoo!!!!!

Well, after months and months of waiting, I finally get the call. My MINI has arrived at Baron in KC and I am going to go get it tomorrow morning. I am so freakin excited I can't stand it!
