Excellent compilation. My only request is that you copy some of your NAM-only articles to pages on your web site.
And a million thanks for all the effort that goes into posting your well-written and photographed articles!

Octaneguy- Good stuff. You should make a publication "How to Mod a MINI for Dummies" book.

Thanks guys! I love the Dummies book idea! LOL. Not that I haven't thought about that before cause I often feel like the Ultimate Dummy when working on my MC!

As for copying my NAM articles to my website, thanks for the suggestion. When I first read that, I thought you wanted me to copy my articles from my website to NAM (the other direction).

Always good to have feedback!

Richard

My web host was having issues yesterday, it might have been due to me exceeding the allocated disk space requirements--haven't purged my log files in a couple month, but I had plenty of bandwidth, and everything seems ok today!

Hey Richard, did you ever do a how-to for your bonnet stripes? I apologize if they're already up there and I'm just missing them. I'm trying to track down some good how-to's because I acquired some viper style stripes that I'm going to attempt to install myself I think

While not exactly a writeup, more of a pictorial of a pro doing my bonnet stripes you can go here:

http://www.littlemini.us/technical/vinyl/index.asp

As far as advice goes---remove the emblem, don't cut around it.
Take your time---this install took 2 days--and several tries with new vinyl each time.

Use a soapy solution--a bug got stuck at one point--so he sprayed it on to extract it with tweezers.

I posted a new writeup. It's on my new Flik Fuel wheels and how I made custom wheel decals for it.

Did you ever get around to a headlight painting how-to? I know it's MUCH easier for me to ask then it is for you to do, but I've been anxious to see such a thing ever since you tantalized some of us with pics in the middle of another thread. If it's already done and I just haven't managed to find it yet, please point me in the right direction. Thank you!

Unfortunately, this was documented by more than one person--I got called away for a few hours to help a customer, and so I only have photos from certain portions of the process. The writing of this article took a lower priority, but it is something I plan to get done in the near future.

Removing ebrake console help needed

I picked up a used armrest at MOTD but no install instructions. It mounts in the rear cup holder by two bolts. How do I remove the center console so I can drill the holes and mount the armrest?

Yeah I decided to close the site, because the webhost was always a problem to deal with and I didn't think anyone was using it lol. If there is interest in keeping the links going, I can put it back up on another host as I downloaded the site before closing it.

That would be great! That list is a real good resource, It'd be a shame to lose it.

I used your brake write ups wow made my first ever brake job a breeze! I wanted to print off your articles but now all the images look like links and will not open. They direct me to a web hosting web site. Am I doing something wrong here? I really want to save your info to keep with my bentley manual...Thanks for all the great help!
