Waved at a green MCS yesterday, and I got two flashes back!

Purely an artist's rendering... but it WAS the first wave and/or flash I've gotten in months! ...and it was two flashes.

I got my first wave back on Sunday!!!!!!!!! I was giddy for the rest of the day!

 

Got a wave from a CM today! My friend in the car laughed when I told him about the wave, but it made my day better

Usually, when I find another mini here in Cedar Rapids, I'm in my truck, or or my wife's Chevy, or on a motorcycle... But TODAY I was actually in my own Mini!

I met a blue Mini with black hood stripes on Edgewood Road today and waved a healthy wave out my driver's window at the couple in that car, and they looked at me like I was from another planet.

Oh well. I trued.

 

I'm finding a lot of the rich snobs are buying these around here for their grocery getters. They're not privvy to the way of the MINI...they look like I'm trying to rob them

 

I won't be able to hide from MINI wavers if I'm driving with the Roadster's top down. Might as well get used to it from Day 1.

Tried waving at people in the Chicagoland, no one is really waving back!

 

I waved at about 6 different Mini's yesterday.... most of them just looked at me like I was crazy... BUT... I enjoyed it... so that was good enough for me haha!

 

I ALWAYS wave and those who don't wave back I consider ignorant of the fact it's part of the 'code' we veterans have. Maybe they'll catch on if we keep waving. Besides, waving makes me feel good

 

I've waved many times to fellow MINI drivers and had not a single one returned. I'll keep trying...
If you see a bald guy in a pepper white Clubman S driving around Los Angeles (or occasionally Sonoma/Napa county up north) WAVE BACK DAMNIT! :-D

I have waved at 6 Mini drives sense picking up my car a few months back. So far I have had two wave back at me (one a fellow NAM member). I see several Mini's on a daily basis but they are going the other way on the highway.

Anybody in Sydney doing the wave?

Had mine for a couple of weeks now and tried to steering-wheel-wave/salute or smile at the other drivers but only got either a zombie look or a stuck-up eyes-on-the-road. Headlight flash or honk is not an option for me as I don't want to make a pointless scene.

Funny how we unconsciously look for another mini while driving

 

I've waved at so many MINIs around the U city/St louis area but I've gotten exactly 3 waves back :(

MINI of St. Louis needs to keep telling their customers to wave!

 

Well, I've been waving... to every one I pass. I got one back from a lady in a bone stock non s so that broke my ideals I've had before. I gotten one other than that back, a seemingly stock s. today I passed 3 different red w/ white top R56 S's within 2 minutes. no waves returned.
