Had the mirror parts of the clear bra re-installed. Also experience my first stalls/yo-yo idling.

I put a Union Jack decal on the sunroof, it's one of those kind that is perforated so you can see out, but it looks opaque from the outside, it reduces light transmission by 25%, so it looks like the sun shade is in place when it is not. I have photos in my gallery. The dealer didn't have anything like that, just the whole roof flag decal. I couldn't find one on line that was see through, so I had one made at Fast-Signs. I'm real happy with how it turned out!

$218.50 plus sales tax, installed.

The installation guy had done city buses, but not sunroofs, he did a great job!

Tonight (once my engine compartment cools) I will install my ALTA CAI, I have already installed my ALTA Sticker to my driver's side rear window. Thats gotta be worth at least 2 HP . Was thinking of putting one on the windshield, where the rear view mirror black-out is, but i think I'll reserve that spot for Eaton. Afterall, Eaton has a factory in my town.

Ditched the runflats and installed Continental Extreme Contact DW's. Of course I had to wash the car to get rid of the dirty fingerprints on the wheels.

Was the install very difficult? I am in a quandary whether to get the Mini Do More kit or the MiniFini sport link. Did you look at both and what was your deciding factor if you did? Any feedback would be helpful...Thanks.

I sold my classic 380SL Mercedes to empty out the garage for my MCS cabrio to have a home. She looks so comfortable in the space.

Performed a seafoam treatment on ZIM. What a difference in performance.

Next up is installing oil catch can.

Your husband is a brave man. If I modded my wife's MINI w/out her knowledge I think I would have lost a couple of fingers.

Hope you like the new intake. I was thinking about the DoS CAI soon...

Nice to hear! An ECU tune (either RMW or a factory JCW tune) will likely get you over the 200 HP threshold with the additional bolt-on mods. My current mod list is the DoS CAI, JCW stage 1, and either the Helix or Forge FMIC. I'm still on the fence whether to maintain the factory warranty or to go for the RMW tune though.

To keep on topic though...I scheduled an appointment with Lyle at Vinyl Styles today and am anxiously awaiting to black out the chrome on Douglas.

I parked Nudnik out in a regular parking spot amongst the cars belonging to the "great unwashed horde", because some bozo with a dark blue Tahoe parked in my assigned covered parking spot.

Hopefully I won't collect another door ding like the *last* time I parked out amongst the lesser cars (which is why I'm paying extra for the parking spot).

Not a happy camper right now, especially considering that IT'S MY BIRTHDAY....

C ya,
Dutch

Ugh...sorry to hear that Dutch. I can't believe those people with no concern for others.

But on the lighter note...happy birthday!
