^^^ I thought I was imagining things but yeah, I notice that too. I thought it was because dark silver might be a little hard to see sometimes, but I usually drive with my lights on so I'm thinking it's an attitude problem as well. Whatever, I know I'm having 1000 times more fun driving than they are.

People love to cut MINI's off, I see it every day. Must be the "my car is bigger" attitude problem.

I see the same thing every day. I live in NYC and am in Jersey often. I get cut off constantly. I'm getting a little tired of that.

They do that out here in Cactus Country <TM> too. They've got a bumper crop of ginormous SUVs and pickemup trux rolling around out here with tires the size of a Smart Car....

BTW, what exit? I used to live near exit 83.... Is it true that they finally made the Lacey Rd. exit (#74, IIRC) go both ways?

C ya,
Dutch

God I hate the manual that comes with my Mini . It only shows how to program if you have the NAV joystick.

I discovered that 99.9 is the best you can get for current fuel consumption on the computer going downhill while off the gas. I guess the display doesn't go any higher.

Also, the Mini is incredibly efficient at killing bugs of every description. To the point of not being able to see without pulling over to clean some off the windshield when it's getting dark.

All that was Saturday, I forgot to post it up.

I put on a Craven Flex Pod with the scissor module for my iPhone. I also installed an Invisilens tach glass. Both products are awesome.

I rarely get cut off. But that goes for every vehicle I've driven, Mini to 3/4 ton van. I might have a slightly aggressive driving style.

I've also been thinking about adding an air horn just to freak out anyone that tries to cut me off.

That, or a PA system to yell at people. Always another classic choice. I may go that route once my warranty is up. Maybe...

I get less of that than the people who seem to be incapable of being passed on the road and not zoom past me again. It's not like I'm trying to blow their doors off, I'm just moving 5 mph faster than they were & I'm in the other (fast) lane anyway.

finally installed my DT bypass valve, installed a new belt tensioner assembly with Powerflex supercharger belt damper polyurethane bushings, installed Powerflex lower engine mount polyurethane bushings, checked my supercharger oil on the pulley side.

With the supercharger oil, once I had the plug out I stuck sprayer from an old windex bottle into the hole and sprayed it into a bucket. I know I didnt get all of the oil out but atleast there is now more clean oil compared to dirty.

I hadn't heard about Seafoam until I read about it on NAM. Did my '07 MCS with 16.5k miles. Got some good smoke for maybe 30 secs then it ran clean.

Hopefully this will help with the CEL turning on. I've been getting "running too rich at idle" error but only when its over 105 and I'm sitting at a light.

Today I had mudflaps, a clear mask, and a grille badge holder installed. Tomorrow will be my first home wash.

Bought it last week and I am actually paying someone to hand wash and detail it for me. I figure all the dirt and grime should be mine. Later I plan to tint my windows.

Installed the NM sway bar and retrofit the adjustable lumbar support to the drivers side sport seat.

Late post: Installed NM springs and Bilstein struts 2 weeks ago.

If you add a M7 Extreme scoop like I did, not only does an entire science project end up in there, they are all cooked ready for eatin after baking on the GP intercooler.....

A litteral buffet of succulent dragon flies with extra sides of honey bee a few times a week and some Saturdays.

Replaced a driver's door latch (actuator) that wouldn't lock or unlock electronically.
